"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

Glad to see level heads there. I’d be over-reacting by now.
I’ve lost all trust in the medical industry. Never had 100% trust anyway, but the last 2 years erased any trust. I fought Rona recently and never even called my doctors. Used my own knowledge of home treatments from real doctors like Zelenko and America’s Frontline Doctors. My cousin trusted doctors and a hospital in December and they killed him with a ventilator. I will avoid doctors for the rest of my life.
If you use an oximeter and get a reading in the 50s, throw the thing away. I have one that seems to work pretty good. A dozen years or so ago those devices were selling for hundreds of Dollars. These days they are practically giving them away.
I know that this is going to come across as seeming naive, but these things really should be approved by the FDA. You cannot use them in hospitals unless they are.
You are posting to a person who has lived 5 years with a heart valve replacement. As well, I personally know many Physicians and Nurses. I have trusted my life with them. Many are friends. I would again trust my life to medical professionals.
It is OK, I understand your disposition. Reasonable persons can disagree.
I’ve never trusted them, don’t have a doctor, or even a “medical history” at all. I remember once being questioned when getting a life insurance policy; they wanted to know my medical history, and I answered “none”, and they were all flabbergasted. Wanted to know when my last “well visit” was, and I said “What’s that? Why does a well person need to visit anyone?” LOL

JMHO, CNN's reputation has been merde for so long, I couldn't imagine how it could degrade.

Nope if the oximeter isn’t reporting level correctly then it is a defective device..might be design, might be manufacturing defect. But it has a certain tolerance in it’s measurement it is allowed to vary within...if it exceeeds that it is a defect.
I agree they shouldn’t have just relied on the oximeter...just had to deal with complaints/MDRs too much in my line of work....(20+ years of med device)
They are registered with the FDA as class 2 devices.
