A teen girl was gunned down and killed during a robbery while working her shift at a Harlem Burger King - with the killer making off with only $100.
Kristal Bayron-Nieves, 19, was working as a cashier at the Burger King at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue in East Harlem around early Sunday morning when an armed robber entered the restaurant at around 1am.
The gunman pistol-whipped a male customer before punching a female manager in the face.
Bayron-Nieves, who just started the job three weeks ago, gave the robber $100 cash from the drawer, an eyewitness said, according to her mother.
The criminal turned to leave, but turned around again and shot Bayron-Nieves in the torso, according to the New York Post.
The teen was transported to nearby Metropolitan Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
'She didn't deserve to be mowed down while working at a Burger King,' a police source said.
*** Her mother went on to say she felt particularly torn over her daughter's death after convincing her to continue going to work despite the teen's concerns.
'Kristal said Friday, 'I don't want to go. I'm scared,'' Nieves said.
'I say, 'You have to go and be responsible.' At 10 pm I wake her up to go and tell her, 'You have to go. You have to be responsible. You have to get a better life.'' *** The robber, who has yet to be identified or apprehended, was described as a slim male who was wearing dark clothes and a black mask, according to police.
Authorities have since released surveillance video footage of the man wanted in the teen's death. ***

As long as the one murdered isn’t black. If they are it’s a hate crime.
That's because only parts of the country are finished.
I feel terrible for that poor young girl. She didn’t want to work there and her mother made her do it. Mother will have to live with that forever.
The whole effin’ country is going feral.
The report mislabeled her as a “teen” even though she is obviously not Negro.
Pallor. Parlor?
It is way past the time to punish all criminals to the fullest extent of the law. This piece of chit should go down immediately. This kid was trying to make a buck, and the efyouseekay ended her life. Hunt him down and end his life.
Sure, make your kid work nights in Harlem. What could go wrong?
“...You have to be responsible...”
Maybe YOU should have been responsible mom?
its too bad about NYS, my home state....like California, NYS is blessed with wonderful farmsk and orchards and lakes and mountains with moose and deer and black bear....
they have ruined it...
sadly, they were probably dropped in that location, and they have too too much trust in those inner city people....
RIP, will AOC and Chuck Schumer talk about this female getting killed by a black male?
Someone should do some research to find out how many Whites are murdered by blacks in the US, every year.
Saw an article about 7-8 years ago and it was about 3-4 lives lost every day.
No doubt, quite a bit more now.
Pray for this girl and her family.
English is my third language (Hebrew, French native).
I’m pretty proud of how I do, even if stilted.
I won’t even go there during the day. Now they have carjackings at Pittsfield Plans.
NYC went through a nice renaissance there under Guilani and Bloomberg. Seems like it was a “Golden Age” It will return to its old self that we were familiar with back in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Sort of like Gotham.
God keep that poor girl close in His heavenly arms.
Here was a young girl trying to do the right thing and earn her money honorably.
Here was a Mom trying to do the right thing and teach her child responsibility and instill a good work ethic.
Here is a disgusting piece of walking excrement that ended a sweet girl’s life over a lousy $100 that she already gave him.
I’m not her parent, but as a parent, I want this bastard found and executed.
Rest in peace, Krystal. You will never have to be afraid again.
Yeah, that's kinda what message boards are for!
Unless you want to actually visit that Harlem Burger King and start cruising the neighborhood, collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses, you sorta have no other choice than to speculate.
Regards,
