A leading QAnon promoter who urged both her followers and strangers she passed on the street not to take the COVID vaccine died Thursday of the coronavirus, making her just the latest vaccine opponent killed by the disease.
Cirsten Weldon had amassed tens of thousands of followers across right-wing social media networks by promoting the pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy under the screenname “CirstenW.” She was prominent enough to become a sort of QAnon interpreter for comedian conspiracy theorist Roseanne Barr and started recording videos about QAnon with her.
In late December, however, Weldon started showing symptoms of coronavirus infection. In her last video, posted on Dec. 28, Weldon struggled through her remarks about the coming overthrow of the United States government, coughing and complaining that she was exhausted.
Three days later, Weldon was hospitalized in Camarillo, California. She posted a picture of herself wearing an oxygen mask to Instagram and claimed she had “bacterial pneumonia.” Weldon wrote in a post on the social media network Telegram that she refused to take coronavirus treatment remdesivir, calling it “Dr Fauci’s Resmedervir (sic).”

They have defacto banned any type of treatment except Remdesiver, and monoclonal antibodies. What the hell are you talking about? That’s the whole point. You can’t get treatment.

My family has a history of heart issues, why take a vaccine that causes Hearth conditions. My odds are better not taking the vaccine due to my overall health and age.
Each person needs to look at their overall health then decide to get the vaccine or not get the vaccine.
To judge from some photos, she was quite large. Big people, you should probably get the shot. Your risk of dying from COVID is greater than your risk from the shot. If you have some religious objection, you have to be more serious about distancing and remedial measures, and less concerned about attracting a social media following.

There is no medical reason to take a vaccine when there are cures available.
Even if the vaccines were safe, there would be no reason to take them because there are cures available.
To understand this logic, you don’t have to be a genius. In fact, if you’re mentally retarded you can still understand it.
Hospitals may not give you the right treatment. You may not know enough to ask for it. It may not come at the right time. Different patients react differently to different treatments. If you have respiratory problems already remedial treatments may not work as well for you. And there are more than enough stories of people who thought there were cures available who are dead now. If you are overweight or diabetic or have other comorbidities you are better off getting the shot. Cracks about “mentally retarded” don’t change that.

I’v been against any all mandates and even worked within the Michigan State Legislators (Their Aides mostly) and we got a rider on the Budget Bill to eliminate all mandates accept through our House and Senate.
Our idiot Governor Vetoed it.
The whole idea of force vaccinations makes zero sense.
If someone wants to be vaccinated, fine, but it doesn’t matter who isn’t vaccinated around them because they are vaccinated!
I’m vaccinated……..I don’t care if I’m in a room with 25 Covid infected people.

Over 70 years of age with Lung, Heart or Diabetic issues I suggest they consult with their Doctor and consider getting vaccinated.

Correct. I was commenting on the idea that they did not recommend monoclonals, which is incorrect. They list it as a second tier treatment with ivermectin, vitamins, etc as first tier
Don’t know where you are, but even here in Michigan Monoclonal Treatments are readily available.
Remdesivir isn’t really used so much in favor of other treatments. Regeneron, Steroids, Antibiotics, Diuretics.

Look at your own words. The comments there are based on worries of “what if this” and “what if that,” which is a groundwork of fear. This pandemic was not biological, it was psychological. The virus was fear.
As for the common cold coronavirus, the treatments are curative.
They are ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D, zinc, quercetin, vitamin C, NAC, and several others.
If you can cure it, you don’t need a vaccine.

There is SO much bullsh!t in that article. Wow.
To be fair, it was their right to not get the shot. It was their right to refuse Remidesivir, which is incredibly toxic and actually not too helpful in fighting COVID. They should have been treated as soon as difficulty breathing emerged, and sniffles always merit the basic vitamin-zinc remedies.
I had bacterial pneumonia in November, so it very well may have beeen, because WHO CONFIRMED THE DECEASED’S MEDICAL STATUS? I didn’t happen to see it in the article.
