I'm sure he's giving it all to charity.

I think they see the bottom falling out of the market with streaming audio paying so little in royalties, and fewer people paying to “own” a copy.

He’s 72 years old. Probably doesn’t have much time left. Better to sell his catalog now.

I’ll buy it for tree fiddy.

If I was Sony I’d tell him he could stick his songs “in the dark”.

The weird dude was popular in 1985. Since then, nothing. $415 million. Yeah, right.

I worked as a professional musician for over 30 years, 4000+ jobs.
And, never met another musician who liked playing his songs.
There’s the saying, “no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public”
He’s proof the same is true about music.
Sorry BS fans.

Him, Bon Jovi, and Mellencamp get on my nerves. Most overplayed musicians on the radio. You can also throw in Journey and the song Piano Man. Anyone who can sing the line “Sucking on chilidogs...” does not deserve to be heard.

ya, I will join the chorus of ‘never liked his stuff’. I cant think of a single song of his that I liked. I wonder if most of his popularity was because his sound was confused with Bob Seger.
