The gun might be pointed at the camera for a shot that does not allow “cheating” the angle, but I would expect the crew to get out of the line of fire.

What happened is that Baldwin did not check his gun when it was handed to him. He should have known enough to check for live ammunition and not hire out his responsibility for gun safety.

Exactly. This needs to be investigated. The police need to look to see if Alec had a motive.

Where did the live ammo come from? Did Alec handle the round before it was fired.
