I can’t read his statement in the original on FB, because I don’t ‘belong’. But I have great doubts about this.

I will note he said nothing about Trump at the rally so probably not a supporter.

Scheller’s parents have been all over conservative talk radio in the past week. A number of Repukes in Congress have reached out to them and they even got Louie Gohmert to see and speak with Scheller in the brig. This one smells pretty fishy.
He’s walking back his earlier remarks.
Next up: A groveling apology. Then he’ll be begging for a reinstatement and a full return of his retirement.
Milley and the Military Industrial Complex got to him. He is now begging for forgiveness.

When the s*** hit the fan, the only ones to speak up in his defense were the 38 Rs in Congress who signed a letter about his confinement. He was visited by Louie Golmert, a Texas Republican. Not one Democrat in the Congress signed anything, spoke up, or visited the guy and I don’t see a word in his screed about the senile boob who presided over the Afghanistan disaster. At a minimum, he sounds like a self-centered ingrate.
I got a weird vibe from him on his first video, especially after reading he has young kids. I thought he should worry about his family. Now I read this. Yes, Trump is a jerk sometimes, to put it mikdly. Trump isn’t the problem, even though this guy supposedly thinks he is. I hope this guy doesn’t get persecuted; maybe he won’t if these posts against Trump are legit.
I think Lt. Col. Scheller is putting some distance between himself and Trump in contemplation of his own political career. It doesn’t make his actions any less irritating, but if that’s what he wants, he certainly has that right.
Secondly, consider this: This entire event could be a FALSE FLAG that HE IS PART OF. The military MAKES AN EXAMPLE OF HIM for all servicemen to see, and to cause would-be recruits to RECONSIDER thus DRIVING DOWN ENLISTMENTS.
Team BaiDin is HELLBENT on causing Americans to LOSE FAITH IN ALL OF OUR INSTITUTIONS and they are succeeding.
Another possibility is he's been BRAINWASHED by the CIA. THEY'VE HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO DO IT.
I would like to ask his parents if THEY think he's been brainwashed or a victim of an insidious mind-control effort.

Trump has little if any power any more. Perhaps the marine is switching sides (or maybe he was always a dem) and thinks he has a better chance getting out now if he trashes Trump.

I followed the link in the article and went to Scheller’s Facebook page. (It looked legitimate, but who knows?)
There are two anti-Trump postings there. Both are long - really long - and rambling. Scheller has a beef with a lot of folks, not just Trump.
The last post was on Sept. 26, a few days before he was arrested.
