“The Wire’’ actor Michael K. Williams was found dead of a suspected drug overdose in his Brooklyn penthouse Monday afternoon, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Drug paraphernalia was found in the five-time Emmy nominee’s apartment, suggesting the acclaimed 54-year-old actor may have fatally OD’d, possibly from heroin or fentanyl, sources said.

“The Wire” was so amazing...
Before I retired I worked in an urban area with a lot of drug trafficking downtown.
After watching the Wire I knew _exactly_ who was doing what and how it all worked.
The cops just ignored the whole thing.

I enjoyed his acting.
The problem is that almost nobody intentionally does fentanyl. It's cut into other things and people can't judge the dose or even the drug compared to what they were told they'd been sold and what they were accustomed to doing. A couple of people OD'd in Los Angeles the other night on cocaine that had been cut with it.
This story reflects a tragedy, a tragedy that affects all of us. My brother died of an overdose and most families have a similar story. The Liberals foisted all of this on everyone, believing that this kind of behavior led to nirvana. It’s fun while it lasts, then it turns to doo doo. Just like the Biden Administration.

Fentanyl is being mixed with heroin, and the user doesn't know how much, or if at all. Drug centers are handing out fentanyl test kits with there narcan pens now.
Another casualty of open borders.
Chalky White was a great character. Too bad for this guy.

Apparently, fentanyl is something that gets added to other drugs to make it seem like they’re better, or more pure, than they really are. The problem is, people mixing cheap, poor value drugs with fentanyl have no idea how strong the fentanyl is or how much of it to mix. I gather just inhaling the dust from strong fentanyl can cause an overdose. So, how much do you add and with what kind of measure? The amount that would cover the head of a pin can be fatal...or, a lot more if it’s diluted can barely have any effect. The people doing this are often barely literate, so expecting any kind of quality control is optimistic. Then there’s the problem with how do you mix it in so that the user doesn’t run into a bit that’s almost pure fentanyl?
I liked him in “Boardwalk Empire”.
