Folks - I want to buy some "prep" food for my son & his soon-to-be-bride. I want to make sure they have some stored food & the easiest way (unlike how I've done it) is to just buy some stored food from Patriot Food Supply or such. I'm curious if any Freepers have purchased & what they consider the best options, where you have purchased from or what advice you might have. Appreciate the advice!
Spaghetti, pasta sauce and canned meat.
I don’t care what they say, don’t get too many beans. Man, those things will tear you up!
couple cases of MREs are always a good start, make sure you get an “A” and “B” case so you get 24 different meals
with all the deployments though, they’ve been scarce
As if I am going to tell you and have the price go through the roof.
My friend this is gonna be as bad as a gun/ammo thread. LoL!
I do like their food. So far, we've tried their Mac and Cheese, Stew, and Chicken and Rice. They've been good and I'm planning on buying more.
Get them a pressure canner and they can pressure can all the favorite foods they cook and enjoy today.
I’m all for totally eliminating FB.
Rice will last forever if sealed (or vacu-packed) and kept cool. Carbs are not your friend when times are good, but when the SHTF, just the opposite.
Both honey and maple syrup will last virtually forever if they are in quality containers and not exposed to too much heat or cold.
Might be a strain on the newlyweds if they are stuck in close quarters.

I think having professionally prepped food is useful as a start, but they should be trained on how to make it themselves.
Very good place to buy and they have or used to have good flat rate shipping costs.
Appreciate your help!!
Excellent! Thank you!
Still have good shipping rates; https://beprepared.com/pages/shipping-rates
