‘Animals Are Running For Their Lives’: Wildlife Rescue Groups Rush Animals Away From Flames
But as people piled into their cars, animals hit the road too. The flames frightened wildlife. forcing animals from their homes. A CBS13 photographer spotted a bear in the Christmas Valley area running from the flames being pushed down to the valley floor.
Local wildlife rescue groups have had their hands full moving all of their animals away from the path of the flames. Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care says it was ready. Within just the last six months, the group used grant money to buy an animal trailer and anxiety-safe crates just in case they had to evacuate.

I do not blame these military personel that were made to turn their backs on American citizens and leave them STRANDED, the orders came from on high.

I worry about all the wildlife. Even if they get somewhere else it will be another animals’ territory and they will have to fight it out. Limited food, too.
And the domestic animals that people leave behind.
I’m just praying for lots of rain over there,. But it seems like every summer is worse and worse.

My knee doesn’t hurt at all if I am sitting. And I can straighten it. I just can’t bend it. I shuffled down the hall to get some Advil, and I know we have a knee brace plus crutches, both from my son, somewhere in a box. Problem is I have to go downstairs to go find it. So I’m not quite ready for that sort of Adventure yet.

When SoCal had all those fires I was so worried about all the horses. Saw one video of a stable people rushing to load up horses to transport out. The newscaster and cameraman ended up helping, and people on the road stopped to help.
That was a good ending. Unfortunately not all were so lucky.
So heart breaking 💔 that during wildfires so many of God’s creatures 🐺🦊🦝🐻🦌 are harmed and displaced.
Glad that there are good people who thought ahead and will bet able take care of some.
