YES.....Nicholas will be bringing winds today/tomorrow, and rain, most of the week.
We REALLY needed him to turn West, down along the Southern coast. The Hill Country could use the rain a lot more than SE TX and LA.

That reminds me...
I stuck my nose in at Democratic Underground last night (wanted to see if they knew about the kids trolling Biden-didn’t see a thing) and I saw a thread about the crowds at the college football games. Several posters were absolutely horrified at these selfish, ignorant, uncaring, common people attending a football game. They were saying how disgusting they were, considering they could get sick and use up valuable medical resources.

I was one of those selfish, ignorant, uncaring, and common people who attended a football game. I had a lot of fun. There was a moving tribute, actually several tributes, to 911. We even had a piece of the twin towers with a ROTC honor guard. To make it even better, we won, 62 - 0.

Furthermore, my brother-in-law is a poster on DU. My response to him, and those like him, is that he can’t stand other people having fun when he chooses to live miserably. I don’t want to live my life according to his fears.
