The Marine captured in a photo cooing over a rescued Afghan infant last week was identified as one of the 13 US service members slaughtered in Thursday’s terror attack in Kabul.
“I love my job,” Sgt. Nicole Gee, 23, captioned the Aug. 20 snap on Instagram, showing her peering down at the baby in her arms.
The photo was later picked up by the Pentagon and shared on its Twitter account. Sgt. Nicole Gee had recently earned a meritorious promotion to sergeant and boasted perfect fitness score Gee was from Roseville, Calif.
...But she was fixed on the thought of Gee’s car, which Harrison had been maintaining in her buddy’s absence.
“Her car is still there, & she’s gone forever,” Harrison wrote.

The military was never supposed to be a humanitarian agency, especially the Marine Corp.
This young marine wanted to serve and help people. She would have been great in the Peace Corp.
But the Taliban will kill many of their own as evidence from the bomb blast that killed over a hundred people, mostly Afghans.
The world is lost when good men and women do nothing. Sgt. Gee was doing something worthy of only praise, admiration, and now, great regret in her loss. Angels up!

Only an ungrateful moron would belittle her sacrifice, suggesting it doesn’t matter because women are supposed to stay barefoot and pregnant. The woman laid down her life for all that is good and right in this world. Yes, it matters.

NEO is one of the METLs the Marine Corps conducts. Within those operations, female Marines are pulled into teams to assist in dealing with females, fully integrated into supporting infantry.
She died a US Marine. Serving and helping people is the other side of the coin.

By all accounts she was a great Marine but she would likely have been an even better wife and mom.

Would the Marines even be there if this operation didn’t include the protection of U.S. embassy staff. Seems odd to me that they’d be playing such a prominent role in a military campaign in a landlocked sh!thole like that.

NEO doesn’t care about landlocked countries. It’s a different mission set. But the real issue is Xiden’s leadership put them in the most riskiest environment:
A pseudo semi-permissive environment with an enemy that doesn’t follow any part of the Law of War....never held accountable by the international community.

Sgt Gee helped many people, biden only looked to help himself.
