My wife was a Navy Nurse who served in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Storm. She did an important job, along with many other American military women. She was NOT kitted out to do combat with the Iraqi Republican Guard. And she was NOT “barefoot and pregnant” at Fleet Hospital 5.
Are you so stupid that you believe that women are interchangeable with male infantry grunts, while millions of American men sit at home playing video games while on govt “unemployment?”
I despair for our nation if your opinion is the majority.
Our female KIA was sent with an infantry unit to a likely combat area, (Kabul Alamo Airport), with a rifle, body armor, and ammo mags. That is, she was sent with the potential that she would be put into a ground combat situation. I grabbed this clip at random, it could be any of a thousand clips from movies or combat footage.
You think we should send women to do this job, while millions of young American men sit at home playing video gams. You are a FOOL.
