Pentagon officials do not think this was a vehicle IED. Instead they now believe it was a vehicle carrying multiple ISIS suicide bombers with explosives vests planning to launch a new attack targeting Kabul airport. Uh huh, sure.

I’m watching live Ida coverage on YouTube. Reported 40 people stayed in Grand Isle, don’t know if they can survive what they’re going through right now.
Ida turned slightly west so New Orleans may be spared the very worst. Levees are expected to withstand any surges but flooding will occur from rain.
Mississippi River flowing backwards now, anyone close to river needs to get out. NOPD no longer taking calls.

Hurricane Ida has officially made landfall as a category 4 hurricane near Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The National Hurricane Center says landfall occurred around 11:55am CDT with maximum sustained winds of 150 mph.
