I’m beside myself. There is a Christian Afghan couple our church has supported for years. They speak perfect English and have worked with Americans. They have SIVs. They have been desperately trying to get to the airport. They have been literally beaten back three times. American ops and even Danish ops have been trying to help them out. Now to hear no more Afghani’s are allowed out just crushes my soul. I have been hearing voice messages from these dear people. And now they are preparing to die. FU Joe Biden!

The site I read says you can even drink as tea. Maybe I’m missing something, but how can it be harmful if it’s grapefruit and lemon peel tea? Anyway I was just planning on drinking it a day or two. I don’t have any indication of illness.

Just a word about quinine:
I have taken it for malaria, which is stronger than taking it as a malaria prophylaxis. When treating malaria, the instructions were to take the dosage at 8 hour intervals. That meant, many times, getting up to take it. I also found it made me throw-up. Therefore, I had to take an anti-nausea med 30 minutes before taking the quinine. Further, it made me dizzy. I would lay on the floor and hope I don’t fall off. I would hear things and all the items in my vision would be disconnected from everything else. I would see what was there. They just sort of were only there.
