JUST IN - NYC mandates vaccinations for all public school teachers, staff. No way to opt out. It marks the first flat-out vaccination mandate for city workers in the nation’s most populous city (AP)

“The CDC says the first thing you should do to prepare for a hurricane is get the COVID vaccine.”
Forget going to the hardware store to get boards to cover your windows, apparently the vaccine is going to protect those windows.
Hallelujah.
We need some good news on the audit front.
Well, on ALL fronts, but I’ll take what we can get.
Morning, Spunky!
You are welcome.
You do realize that I was posting something an Aussie relative had posted.
And, to tell you the truth, she doesn’t live by respecting a persons decision to not get a shot.
She said to another relative that it was a “pity” that he hadn’t gotten the shot.
That’s not respect is it?
Just sickening, isn’t it?
And, we were told these shots would never be mandated.
Just more lies.
Prayers up for NYC public school teachers. I imagine half have already taken the shots. I guess they can replace any open slots with newly arrived Afghanis, or illegals :-(
Would NOT put that past DeBlob.
Who knows if it works.

I am going to ask my Doctor this week when I go for my blood results, to give me Ivermectin pills.
My friend go them from her doctor and you know what since she has been taking them she says her arthritis isn’t as bad.
Go figure.
After the Taliban told him we can’t stay past August 31. Unlike Biden and Obama, when they call a red line they probably mean it. So Joe needs to stay away from questions.
Glad you’re clarifying that it was not you saying that. I was a bit confuseled (😆), the first time I read it.
I had to re-read it a couple of times, until I saw your preface.
Someone posted an excellent Abbot and Costello version of the shots, the other day. I meant to save it. It is a great analogy of what we’re seeing.
I read it as the FDA Did NOT fully approve the Pfizer shot as being reported! It only extended the Emergency use authorization!

Joe Biden Plans Coronavirus Speech as Approval of His Handling of the Pandemic Falls 12 Points

President Joe Biden plans to address the coronavirus battle on Monday as more Americans grow sceptical of his handling of the pandemic.
The president scheduled a speech on the pandemic for Monday afternoon after the Food and Drug Administration gave full approval for the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
But recent polls show Americans are growing increasingly skeptical of Biden’s response after the surge of the Delta variant of the virus in the United States.
An Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll showed Biden suffering a 12-point drop in his approval rating on the issue.
I read that, on another thread, as well. Hopefully...good news, overall. 🙏🏻
Only someone from Texas would say they have better peaches than Georgia, lol! 😏
No we have no local peaches here. They bring peaches in from the various States depending on which area has the ripe peaches. Starting with those horrible Georgia ones :-) I believe the batch I got came from Pennsylvania. Likely having to do with the ripeness and the Mennonite contacts in Pennsylvania.
Actually I’ve never really liked any of my canned fruit. It just ends up too soft. These peaches did fine with baking. They held their shape okay, tastred better after baking than before, pretty weird. They’re just not great for eating, the texture is a bit rubbery so they are supposed to hold up better in canning. Except for me. I guess i don’t like canned fruit so I don’t know why I thought this would be any different. I tried freezing some, didn’t like the texture one bit after it’s thawed.
In the middle of winter, I might like it all better.
I didn’t know Fredericksburg grew peaches. I’ve been there for a German dinner a couple of times. What other crops like that does Texas have? I never thought of Texas as a big farming state. Although they did try to go cow corn around Corpus.
Sweet.
TY, i will enjoy perusing those recipes.
Protect the vulnerable, quarantine sick and let everyone else be fully informed to make their own decisions. This is what has happened during all previous human pandemics Instead we quarantined everyone, and still have not fully informed the public about the tests, the vaccines or the disease
Thanks for breakfast lysie.
Read post on the recipe, I know I do not think I can take grapefruit with pills I take.
Words of wisdom.
