Once. When my daughter kids and I were driving home from California, we stopped at a Whataburger in El Paso. We got seated, and my grandson looks around and says, “why are we the only white people here? Why isn’t anyone speaking English?” Then with big eyes and raised eyebrows, “are we in Mexico?” My daughter and I both told him to shhhh. I quietly told him we were close to Mexico.

My Governor has now MANDATED that ALL school personal have to get the vaccine by Oct. That means my SIL is going to be forced against his will.

I’m not taking it because it hasn’t been around to know short and long term side effects, and the more I find out the less likely I will be to ever take it.

For the record and this conversation, how many of that handful were elected on as representatives of the Conservative Party as opposed to the Republican party.
I know of none.
They do seem to think everyone is not taking it just due to one reason. There’s a multitude of reasons.
Since I had an approved drug turn out to increase bladder cancer by 63% and they now recommend to not take it more than 2 years (I took it for 10 years), I’m not overly fond of new drugs, even when fully FDA approved.
I do find it interesting that I’ve seen people saying that if you get COVID, to get the monoclonal antibody treatment ASAP. That’s a EUA and not fully approved by the FDA. But don’t take the vaccine because it’s a EUA.
