Any hospital workers here? Are the hospitals really full?

Posted on 07/18/2021 7:10:27 AM PDT by MNDude

I've seen a number of articles lately about claiming the hospitals are full with Covid patients again.

Is this true or just more fake news?

“FDA has routinely been using screening methods to monitor the safety of COVID-19 vaccines and to evaluate potential adverse events of interest (AEI) related to these vaccines. One of these methods, called near real-time surveillance, detected four potential AEIs in the Medicare healthcare claims database of persons aged 65 years and older who had received the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. The four potential AEI are pulmonary embolism, acute myocardial infarction, immune thrombocytopenia, and disseminated intravascular coagulation. The screening methods have not identified these AEI after vaccination in persons 65 years and older who received the two other authorized COVID-19 vaccines.”

“FDA strongly believes that the known and potential benefits of COVID-19 vaccination greatly outweigh the known and potential risks of COVID-19. There is no need to delay vaccination while the FDA continues its investigation.”

If you are going to take a vaccine then wait for the Novavax vaccine. It is not an mRNA shot, it is a vaccine made the old fashioned way.

I think there’s a lot of inflation in hospital Covid admissions. Most of them are probably unnecessary, but it pushes up the numbers. Hospitals actually want more Covid because it keeps the money flowing.

“This disease is no joke. “

Yes, it is. Everything about it is a sad joke. It has been no worse than the flu but we screwed the planet for it.

Here’s how they play with the numbers. “PIC”

“2020 has been a long, hard year, but one positive of the year 2020 is that we have no more flu or pneumonia ; those illnesses are now gone, thanks to Rona.

The CDC has created “PIC,” short for pneumonia, influenza, or COVID-related illness. It doesn’t really matter if someone has pneumonia or flu anymore; it’s all COVID-19, and the CDC, per their website, is expecting a large “surge” of PIC this season, PIC being the new superbug created by the CDC...”

Hospitals are operated like any other business.
The successful business model is to be fully occupied.
Around here, various hospitals run competing commercials
on TV and Radio to try and get folks to come in for
diagnostics, treatments, surgeries, etc.
For the hospital business: FULL = GOOD.

Not sure about how full they are but I know several people that has had it including my wife and I and wasnt that bad. One of my friends has it now and is really sick today. Wife and I have a couple we know and the wife just updated us that her husband (who is in his 20’s) has it and is now on a ventilator fighting for his life. Whatever this virus is is attacking weaknesses and is deadly for some. If it’s found this was released by China as a weapon then it’s a attack.

In Colorado as of yesterday 3% of hospital beds were filled by known or suspected COVID patients. In a state with 5.75 million people, just over 300 known or suspected COVID patients occupy beds at this time.

If the hospitals are full in Colorado, it’s due to something else.

“Doesn’t answer whether they count probables, repeat positives of the same patient, and whether or not the testing is accurate.”

I think their term “initial” deals with your “repeat positive” concern.

I believe the testing is primarily done for public health management purposes. Testing has problems and limits that you are probably substantially aware of. Testing is a tool. Tests are made by companies, not by DJT, JRB or me. Medical testing is federally regulated, for what that is worth.

Doctors use many tools such as x-rays to detect Covid damage in hospitalized patients.

The linked page also provided this information:

PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Test
A PCR test looks for the viral genetic material (RNA) in the nose, throat, or other areas in the respiratory tract to determine if there is an active infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. A positive COVID-19 PCR test means that the person has an active COVID-19 infection.

Serology Test
A Serology test looks for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in the patient’s blood to determine if there has been an infection in the past. Antibodies are formed by the body to fight off infections. A positive antibody test means that the person was infected with COVID-19 in the past or recently and that their immune system developed antibodies to try to fight it off.

Antigen Test
(Not the same as an “antibody” test.) An Antigen test is for rapid detection of the virus that causes COVID-19. The test determines if a sample contains proteins found on the surface of the coronavirus, which allows much faster results. Antigen tests are very specific for the virus, but are not as sensitive as PCR tests, therefore negative antigen test results may need to be confirmed with a PCR test prior to making treatment decisions if the patient has concerning symptoms or potential exposures to COVID-19. Antigen tests are most commonly used for patients who exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, therefore the percent positive rates are likely to be higher.

Likely told the TRUE story, all along.

There were plenty of cases and deaths as a result of COVID-19 in New York. But the true story is that Gov. Cuomo and his inept health department sent the sick, COVID infected elderly patients back to senior housing facilities and nursing homes where the disease spread rapidly. Instead of segregating the infected individuals in the facilities President Trump provided, like any basic course on epidemics teaches, Gov. Cuomo sent them out into the most vulnerable groups of people.

This disease is no joke. True that we really do not understand who is or is not susceptible. But if you are and this virus affects your lower respiratory tract, you are in bad trouble. This delta variant seems to be more communicable. If you receive the vaccine it is not likely you will become seriously ill from COVID. For what its worth if you are over 40 or have an underlying medical condition, despite some of the known and unknown risks of the vaccine, you are in harms way if you are not vaccinated.

Pure fear-mongering. No healthy person should take this "vaccine" no matter what their age is.

I am an extremely healthy 59-year-old. Other than a brief fling with high blood pressure medicine in the early 2000s, I have never had a prescription ever. My heart is very strong and I pass all my cardiograms and stress tests with flying colors. Why the hell would I take this experimental "vaccine."

I'm pretty sure I had the COVID in February 2020 - I was working in Manhattan pretty much every day riding the subways and such. I had cold symptoms for a few days and it was done.

Recently, I had about two days of runny nose and sneezing as I travelled from Minnesota to Connecticut. I'm pretty sure that was the much-ballyhooed "Delta variant." It's over with now and I'm healthy as can be.

All during this so-called "pandemic", I was out and about. Going to restaurants, going to the office, taking vacations, etc. I never hunkered down with the stupid masks. Fresh air, vitamin D, exercise and good eating is the best antidote to this nonsense.

Vulnerable people with "underlying issues" have been dying of the flu all during our history. It really is "just the flu bro". All of this is just another version of the flu. Although quite likely engineered by the Chinese. My advice is to live healthy and trust your immune system to give you the longest possible life.

I do not recommend taking an experimental "vaccine" that literally changes your DNA. Unless you are already very unhealthy and grasping at straws. That I can understand.

And THEN the entire medical community whines constantly that they don’t have enough money while the break ground on a new hospital or facility every day. The Merciless sisters around here have a new facility on every corner it seems.

I smell a rat?

“Parts of Florida, Missouri and Arkansas were getting more Covid cases based on research I did a few days ago.”

Israel is seeing significant increases in hospitalizations as they vaxed the population with the Pfizer jab.

Case increases across age groups show it’s vaxed population infected with the ChiCom Virus.

That’s why there is all the chatter.

Once again, Dr. Fallacy is lying to Americans claiming it’s all in vaxed Americans. It isn’t.

Here, there’s reports of elderly being admitted into hospital who were vaxed. They are angry about it.

But the jab didn’t stop ✋ infection. It does lessen impact. But those with underlying illness are still vulnerable.

That’s what is occurring with the Delta variant. They will try to use this to shut us down again after the summer or lead to it in 2022 for the midterms.

This way they can undermine election integrity again with massive mail in ballot schemes.
