Need some input concerning using Ivermectin
terart

Posted on 07/09/2021 6:43:54 PM PDT by terart

HI all, My family has all been diagnosed with Covid and all very sick.

I started everyone on the protocol by EVMS which says to take a dose on day 1 and day 3. Unfortunately, on day 6 we are all still very sick. Should I restart the Ivermectin?

When someone asks for help, I try to provide valid information.

Dr. Kory has the most current info on Ivermecton, so I provided it...

You on the other hand posted snark...Twice on same thread...so impressive

“Please do not listen to internet advice. Please seek medical care at the nearest ER they can arrange appropriate therapy.”

Not sure why you’re saying that to me.

(Preface this by saying I am not good at understanding how to post properly or the etiquette-just trying to publicly reply to gitmo so others can also see comments) gitmo-You’re lucky. Where do you live that you were able to find a doctor willing to prescribe it? Curious and so very glad you were able to and sounds like hopefully all family did well ultimately- thank God. Most physicians won’t prescribe it. I’m a nurse and it blows my mind that they won’t treat a Covid patient until it’s too late- when they’re dying! Ivermectin and hydroquinone are safe and effective when given early but the doctors and powers that be (and chat room know it alls) want everyone to believe that they aren’t- because condition of EUA for vaccine is that there is no alternative safe treatment! They’ll also say not precribed for Covid which is ridiculous ‘excuse’ - physicians prescribe meds for ‘off-label’ use all the time and do not need special permission to do so. It’s all a bunch of dangerous BS. They insist on making your choice be vax or watch you die, when those aren’t only choices possible!! 😡 Continued good health to you and yours

I had a long talk with a doctor at Kaiser Permanente. The subject was Ivermectin. Ivermectin is currently undergoing clinical trials as a prophylactic and treatment for COVID. Until those trials are complete, it is not supported By Kaiser for its use against COVID. I was told that no doctors who practiced under Kaiser could prescribe Ivermectin. If they did so, they would be terminated.

I was told that if a doctor could prescribe Ivermectin, they would require they see the patient to accurately give the dosage. And, that person would be required to have follow-up visits to check for problems if the use were to be on a long term plan. That is standard practice for any drug treatment.

I asked about those who were taking the Ivermectin paste used for treating animals. The doctor said that not under any circumstance should someone do that. The animal Ivermectin, whether in paste or tablets, is for animal use only and not only is it forbidden, it is extremely dangerous for humans.

Animal ivermectin is not dangerous for humans unless the dose is inaccurate.

Accurate, appropriate dosing and potentially toxic ingredients to humans would be the problem.

People have been using animal meds for a long time, as they are the same as for humans. Human meds also work for animals.

Erroneous conclusion from the study’s own data, and the study itself could have been better.

Reading the abstract of the Argentina study, 5.6% (14/250) of ivermectin recipients required hospitalization, while 8.4% (21/251) of placebo recipients required same. Simple math says it reduced hospitalization by 33%.

Also note the wide standard deviation (SD) in the study participants’ ages (SD=15.5 years on a mean of 42). With a small sample, randomization can still leave differences in comorbidities and age that would skew results. No comorbidity information was included.

The sample groups also explicitly excluded patients who got a positive COVID test and were admitted to hospital, which would skew the study to those least likely to require treatment for the disease. You can see this in the “good news” stat that less than 10% of both groups required hospitalization. Also note that I saw no where in the study details (I READ THEM) that any participant died. So out of 500 people, no deaths - good news if you are within 1 SD of age 42!

Finally, a very interesting item you may have missed is the Exclusion Criteria Number 10 (N*10) was the use of Ivermectin within the previous 7 days - that number was 12,356 people of the 22,533 patients assessed for eligibility. That means more than 50% of patients were already taking Ivermectin - I guess Argentina didn’t get the Fauci/WHO memo.

Oral is fine but the suggested 200mcg is to low. It is impossible to reach IC-50 at that dosage. 200 mcg is prophylactic, not therapeutic.

Finally. An answer worth considering. I don’t know if you remember me telling you that monoclonal antibodies worked for me but that is exactly the right answer.

Unfortunately medical experts refuse to acknowledge and accept this as a viable treatment. Unfortunately you have to have one or more comorbidities to qualify for this treatment.

But monoclonal antibodies have proven to be much, much, better.

They certainly worked for me. Unfortunately the medical profession will not prescribe this course of treatment for everyone. One has to have one or more comorbidities in order to qualify for treatment.

You need to take Vit K with D3....I aim to keep my D level between 60and 80...it is NOT too high...unless your allergic to D.

If you don’t take excess vitamin d, I don’t think you need to take vitamin k supplements.

Were you able to reach 60 ng/ml. Have you noticed differences or benefits?

See post 42 for docs who will prescribe.

Rx can be filled locally, or sent directly to your home.

I take @ 10,000 a day...and generally am around 60....once got it to 100...and I believe I’ve benefitted...one cold, no flu or covid for several years. Plus d3 is a hormone and helps with other health issues.

Called doctor again to update and he said if our oxygen levels are fine then no need to come in...my girlfriend who was one of the group who got sick finally went into emergency and they litterally said we will only treat with oxygen.

I have zero idea how to get the mod stuff...
