Now you’re talking!
I’ve started eating tortillas instead of bread.
I take it they are low carb tortillas?
Who knows? They’re tortillas. 😉
Dave’s Killer Bread in the green package is awesome toasted or Un toasted. as are their Rockin Grains English muffins. English muffins need to be cooked a bit dark, in my opinion. Expensive though.
Dave’sD Killer Bread is available in Florida and Alabama.
Saw some for the first time today. Smith’s at Tramway.
Which one do you use? Good rye bread is very hard to find.
S’all good man.
I make my own bread. It’s ridiculously easy and delicious. “No knead Bread With Steve” YouTube videos. The turbo bread versions are quicker than his regular versions. 1 bowl, 1 spoon, no mixer, no kneading. I’ve been baking bread for 40 years, and his ar the easiest and quickest recipes ever.
LOL!
I like to make my own everything bagels. Really easy and delicious. Always freeze, then thaw when ready to eat. It’s the only way to keep them fresh. (Same for bakery bagels). Most store bagels taste nothing like a real bagel.
Arrowroot flour has 112 g of carbs per 1cup. No way that’s keto. I make keto bread with carbalose flour, just like I make regular bread, except I add in some wheat gluten. It has 19 net carbs per cup. Smells funky, but tastes fine. Add a little bit of sweetener to it.
We bake about own bread frequently. Arnold bread is what we eat from the store, mostly. Love the Oatnut and 12 grain.
Never cared for plain whole wheat.
Sara Lee Classic White for turkey or tomato sandwiches.
Dave’s Killer Bread is pretty good. I am in California. I see they are also in Minneapolis, Minn area. where I used to live.

To the contrary, just about everyone is buying wheat bread because traditional bread flour is made from wheat.
It's whole wheat flour that sucks.
Hmm, yes you’re right. I just checked. do you know what would happen if instead of regular yeast —you used sourdough starter for the keto bread?
Would there be any noticeable difference?
Reuben sandwiches … with fresh bread buttered up just ever so … yep, that is tough to beat.
I often buy Arnold’s or Pepperidge Farm Jewish rye or Pumpernickel. My wife often picks up some Russian black bread at the international store in Atlanta (Buford’s Market). The best black bread I ever had was almost cake-like in texture but had a strong rye flavor … that was in the Hotel Arbat in Moscow.
