Priceless?? As far as I can tell, they do no one any good. Take a damn picture and let mother nature do her thing.

Why must we always interfere? We are NOT the good guys all the time.

And a reminder...GRANT MONEY IS FOREVER.

/mass extinction events, anyone?

The last mass extinction event was 12800 years ago and was caused by a period of comet debris strikes that lasted 100 years and ushered in the Younger Dryas Event, which was also ended as it began with another round of comet debris.

Ice ages historically had no significant impact on mass extinctions, rather there were many other causes usually having to do with large rocks from space and volcanism.

When the next one hits and we can’t grow food, I’m guessing that will still qualify.

Maybe they’ll clone Wooly Mammoths in time for it.

Only food production will be hit in Northern latitudes - the human race will survive like it did the last one. So no, an Ice Age does not qualify.

Climate change can do anything. Except good things. It’s all bad and only government bureaucrats can save the world.

The painting of a group of therianthropes, or humans with animal characteristics, appearing to hunt animals was found in a limestone cave in 2017 and dated to nearly 44,000 years ago.

So, werewolves and minotaurs hunted prehistoric animals? Whodathunkit!

So, it’s 44,000 yrs. old & it was supposed to last how long? I have a wooden fence a lot younger that was poorly built by someone other than me in the last few years & the last wind blew part of it down too. SO? How could anyone have had the notion that either of these was supposed to last forever? This sounds to me like another pitch to get money for hopelessly trying to combat climate change.

Buy coal - bituminous or soft coal. Burn lots of it; its the cheapest variety and your “footprint” will go through the roof! You will also be very warm during those bitter cold glacial winters. The acrid smoke will keep the smilodons away also ... :)

Got no smilodons here but do have bobcats...which will stay small, I hope.

;)
