Only food production will be hit in Northern latitudes - the human race will survive like it did the last one. So no, an Ice Age does not qualify.

You are correct-we are just going into a solar minimum and Earth position that drove the last Little Ice Age/Maunder minimum-and that is the best-case scenario-the Winters have been getting colder here the last few years-last Winter was a great example-they’d better clone and breed those Wooly Mammoths fast-it is going to take time to find ranchers willing to raise them-miles of grassland needed for pastures-maybe clone some Direwolves to herd them, too-with a couple of possible exceptions, our modern herd dogs are probably not big and aggressive enough...
