Scott Wolter gets a call from a man who has a mysterious stone on his property. He's convinced that it's the "Stone of Destiny"--the stone that Jacob from the Bible rested his head on, in Season 2, Episode 1, "Ark of the Covenant."
In "America Unearthed," host Scott Wolter uses hard science and intuitive theories to explain the most mysterious artifacts and sites in America.

I think those bronze statues on that corner in Winslow were left by Bronze Age seafarers, too. IOW, I don't take this video seriously, but I found it wildly entertaining.
The Ark of the Covenant is being closely guarded in Israel.

Top.
Men.
I find Wolters more fringe than science. And yes I usually watch his shows because it’s entertaining. I find the Solutrean hypothesis interesting....which makes me a racist I suppose.
Funny I read back in the early 90s and agreed with this guy Milford Wolpoff about how he felt that Neanderthals
Didn’t so much die out as combined with so-called modern humans. Fellow ‘scientists ‘ considered his views racist.....that is till the DNA mapping was completed. Then all of a sudden it was Science.
I thought the army had it in a huge warehouse?
Hmmmm. And I thought it was buried on Oak Island.
Everything is buried under Oak Island.
If you think about it...
Where? Under a Casino? The Ark of the Covet-nent.
That’s hilarious!
Milford Wolpoff is (or was?) one of the leading proponents of multiregionalism, and that view that Neandertals are our ancestors has been borne out by DNA studies.
That is exactly the opposite result that was predicted by one clown (Stanford or Berkeley I think) who referred to the Neandertals as the "village idiot", claiming that they were without speech, and further said that the morphological approach was dead, as he championed DNA, then he up and died of cancer. And the DNA evidence has shown him to be just another ignorant bigot.
Better known as junk science. The only thin hard about Wolter's science are the rocks.
Is that show still on (American Unearthed)?
Great show. Really enjoyed it, along with Scott Wolter’s books, but haven’t seen it on the air in years.
He's part of the entertainment industry, he entertains, so he's doing his job. When he does practice "forensic geology" on the show, he probably triggers bouts of drinking and abuse of medication by his old instructors.
It’s gone, and I agree, enjoyable show, and not entirely due to the unintentional humor; his visits to some of those sites are the only ones I’ve ever found on vid, by anyone.
And, it’s a cut above the Oak Island show, which was/is nevertheless much more successful and popular. I mean, imagine, modern technology can’t circumvent an alleged flooding booby-trap designed and constructed by unknown persons using block and tackle tied to an old tree limb.
[snip] The show was cancelled following the sale of H2. This was confirmed by Scott Wolter on Twitter, confirming that History had no interest in bringing it to the main network.
On February 12, 2019 at a TCA presentation, it was announced that Travel Channel had revived the series with a 10-episode order and Wolter returning. On April 30, 2019, it was announced that the revived series would premiere on May 28, 2019. The Travel Channel canceled the program after just one season. [/snip]

I was kind of wondering what that bright shiny thing was in the back of my tool shed. Now I know!
