Wasn't there a scientist that said that he was going to unearth the Ark around July 15 -19? Can anyone recall? Does anyone have any update?

The man who can conjure up flying saucers has also watched his deadline pass, but he is going on a 50 state tour to conjure flying saucers anyway.

He was distracted by a search for the Holy Grail. He was doing fine until he didn't have a lifeline left for the question "What is the capital of Assyria?"

A wizard asked what was his favorite color. He first answered blue, then changed his answer to green. He was never heard from again.

This isnt the same group. The other group who was exploring Mt. Ararat also promised detailed information to those who foot the bill. Far as I know theyve dropped out of sight.
Here is some info from your article
he [Vendyl Jones] hopes to reveal the long-hidden site of the Ark of the Covenant "by August 14."
Should Vendyl Jones find what he is looking for in the Judean desert
Im glad Im not one of those who gave this guy $2,000,000.

DUH!!!!
I was thinking of the ARK, not Ark of the Covenant. Sorry my mistake but someone once posted an interesting article on some who though it was in Ethiopian. Others think it's in Jerusalem. Still others in Washington DC. All I know is don't open it.

Hey, that's an interesting article. The guy who discovered it is named Dr. Jones. And, he was the original inspiration for "Raiders of the Lost Ark." I'm going to have to follow this story. You can be though, that if he decides to open it live on TV, I won't be looking directly at it!

Dr. Vendyl Jones painstaking detective work pinpoints the long lost ark as being "hidden in a secret passage that runs 18 miles south of the Temple Mount into the Judean desert."
I do not believe it either. I think somebody wants some attention.
