Prehistoric cannibal victim found in death cave ID'ed as a young girl

About 800,000 years ago in what is now Spain, cannibals devoured an early human child who became known as "The Boy of Gran Dolina." But new analysis of these ancient remains has revealed a surprising twist: the child was a girl.

The child was a Homo antecessor, an early hominin species that lived in Europe between 1.2 million and 800,000 years ago. Discovered in 1994 in the Gran Dolina cave in northern Spain's Atapuerca Mountains, the species is known primarily from fragments of bones and teeth, which hampered researchers' efforts to determine the sex of H. antecessor individuals.

Recently, scientists... examined teeth from two Gran Dolina individuals: "H1" and "H3". H1, whose remains defined the H. antecessor species, was about 13 years old at the time of death and was long presumed to be male. The second individual, H3 — The Boy of Gran Dolina — died at the age of 11 years old and was also thought to be male...

The girl would have been between 9 and 11 years old when she was killed and eaten, according to the study. And she wasn't the only victim; the remains from 22 H. antecessor individuals in Gran Dolina displayed signs of being cannibalized, with bones showing cuts, fractures where they had been cracked open to expose the marrow, and even tooth marks, Live Science previously reported.

One possible explanation for this ancient cannibalism is that humans were easier to catch and more nutritious than other animals, researchers wrote in 2019 in the Journal of Human Evolution. Compared with other types of prey, "a lot of food could be obtained from humans at low cost," CENIEH researcher Jesús Rodríguez, lead author of the 2019 study, said...

How do we know they weren’t eaten by animals?

Butchering leaves distinctive knife marks on the bones.

There's also the theory that Neanderthals looked far different, hunted at night (much bigger eyes as opposed to homo sapiens sapiens) and preyed on humans. Hence our primordial fear of large, man shaped monsters. Think bigfoot, Yeti, Sullivan...

Neanderthals Hunted, Raped And Ate Humans

"They" say that theory is debunked, but some scientists still disagree.

It probably not a very pleasant story just how our ancestors survived and those alive today came to be.

If you live in a big city, and you're planning to leave descendants without eating your neighbors, it might be a good idea to move elsewhere before a mega-Carrington event or micronova takes the grid down HARD.

No power means no internet, no lights, no pumped water, no computer controlled generators, inverters, no cars, no trucks. No re-supply of grocery stores. No way for any government to give orders farther than a shout can carry. Civilization collapses, all civilization, not just technological civilization.

Data is pointing to our sun, good ol' Sol, is a periodic micronova, with a periodicity of about 12,000 years.

Are the Deep Staters now attempting to normalize cannibalism?

NO scientist disagrees. It's not a theory, it's a comic book, that's all that it is, all it ever has been, and all it ever will be.

There’s no such thing as a micronova, but Robert Schoch discusses something his wife named SIDA.

The-Next-End-of-the-World

Much more information here.

If you can't get the books, and aren't willing to wade through the web site, here's my elevator talk summary:

About every 12,000 years the Earth experiences a global catastrophe. From the geological record some of the elements of this catastrophe are (i) An increase of impact events, (ii) Massive flooding, deluge and/or great waves, (iii) rare isotopes in the flood/wave deposits.

It is unclear what is causing the confluence of these three seemingly unrelated factors. One model that is gaining support is the motion of the solar system in its orbit around the Milky Way Galaxy crosses the galactic current sheet. The galactic current sheet gathers gasses, dust and larger chunks, like a ‘Swiffer Duster’.

This increases the odds of an impact with a big chunk! (i) an increase in impact events, and some of these events can cause (ii) great waves, with the resulting far inland mega tsunami deposits.

More subtly, blanketing the inner solar system with dust is much like a cloudy night keeping the land warmer than a clear night. Only unlike the Sun, the land isn’t trying to pour massive amounts of freshly generated heat into the universe! The Sun’s heat no longer has a clear path to escape. This causes reflected radiation heating of the Sun’s surface.

Extra heat has to go somewhere. The result is being called a ‘micronova’ when the sun ‘boils over’. This is not a full-up star destroying nova, but a violent shedding of the Sun’s outer layer. This blows the dust out of the center of the solar system, and pretty much incinerates the Sun facing side of the earth. The surfaces of the oceans facing the Sun at that moment flash into an amazingly large amount of water is vapor saturating the atmosphere, where it chills to ice and water, which falls back to Earth causing (ii) Massive flooding, deluge, and where it falls as snow, an instant ice age, explaining how it is possible for a mastodon with a mouth full of summer plants can be frozen where it stands.

That leaves (iii) rare isotopes in the flood/wave deposits. Those are classically explained as remains of nearby supernova. The problem is that even the closest nearby supernovae are so far away that the isotopes would have long since decayed away. The event that generated them wasn’t hundreds of light years away, it was only eight light minutes away!

Half the Earth broiled and saturated with solar x-rays, the other half subject to blizzards, and floods. That’s not even the bad news.

The bad news is the associated induced currents will wipe out power grids and fry semiconductors world-wide.

No internet, no lights, no pumped water, no computer controlled generators, inverters, no cars, no trucks. No re-supply of grocery stores. No way for any government to give orders farther than a shout can carry. Civilization collapses, all civilization, not just technological civilization.

This Solar disaster happens about every 12,000 years… …the last one, the Gothenburg event, was about 12,000 years ago.

Excellent! Thanks!

Since 2011, there has been some evidence supporting the micronova theory, it certainly hasn’t reached the level of TRUTH that, say, wearing 2 or 3 or 4 masks can stop a virus, but the data is trending that way at this point.

Micronova is admittedly a matter of definition.

When does a hill (an ordinary solar flare or a Carrington event) become a mountain (a full up nova or super nova)? What would you call a lump of dirt and rock too big to be a mere hill, but too small to be a real mountain?

There are no hard and fast answers to some questions of relative scale...
