Since 2011, there has been some evidence supporting the micronova theory, it certainly hasn’t reached the level of TRUTH that, say, wearing 2 or 3 or 4 masks can stop a virus, but the data is trending that way at this point.
Micronova is admittedly a matter of definition.
When does a hill (an ordinary solar flare or a Carrington event) become a mountain (a full up nova or super nova)? What would you call a lump of dirt and rock too big to be a mere hill, but too small to be a real mountain?
There are no hard and fast answers to some questions of relative scale...
