Following your conversations. sorry to hear of your troubles.
This exact thing happened to my wife on Monday morning - (our wedding anniversary)
I heard her fall then she screamed for me.
She didn’t faint, she blacked out - no memory of what happened.
It looked like she went 3 rounds with Muhammad Ali.
3 knots on her head...2 black eyes...hard bruises on both sides of her arms\elbows
skinned knee, blood drops coming out of her nose but it wasn’t a nose bleed.
Near as we can figure is she blacked out going into the bathroom, bounced off each side of the doorway, and hit a lot of things on the way down - toilet\sink\door then the floor.
She called her dr. after about 5 hours and was advised to go to ER.
6-hour wait.
Did a CT scan of her head and neck.
No signs of cardiac or stroke\seizure episodes.
No idea what caused it - yet they said she could feel woozy for a couple of days.
How could they even make that guess?
Hospital required masks period...their masks.
I couldn’t be in the ER waiting room, so I waited in a chair in a hallway.
After about 2 hours, what I thought was a Karen, started reading me the riot act about not wearing a mask.
I told her I didn’t understand a word she said because she was wearing a mask.
She almost took her mask off but didn’t.
She threatened to call security and I said go ahead.
She must work at the hospital as she had security on speed dial.
Flashlight cop with arrest powers about twice as wide and half again taller than me requested I take it outside.
My wife is seeing her dr. ( or physician’s assistant) tomorrow.
She is still kinda light-headed and woozy and hurts all over.
My wife had the 2nd Moderna in March.
Did you get the covid vaccine(s)?
My mother, who died about 10 years ago, had some kind of an alert system that notified 5 people, one at a time, before it called the emergency services. She never did need the emergency services but her next-door neighbor got called a few times when Mom ushed the button by accident.
Just be sure you’re stocked on toilet paper.
Wow! stylin. Your poor wife. When you need the doctors the most they never seem to know what is wrong with you. I bet she was dehydrated. Did they even put her on an IV to get fluids in her? I know I don’t drink near enough fluids.
Have you been resting instead of working I hope?
I pray your wife gets better soon. How horrible to be treated badly over a mask when you are waiting and worried about your wife.

Morning lysie and thanks!
I am thinking about you at camp as I listen to the thunder and pouring rain....you may be getting it as well.
Good morning Judy. Just had a downpour. Yesterday was beautiful here.
How did I post two breakfasts?
Not awake and using hubby’s laptop and no mouse.
Thank you. I could have complied with the hospital. I chose to be a wise-guy.
Thank you. Never thought of being dehydrated and neither did the doctors. I’ll ask my wife...
We just had that same downpour. I sat out on my nice little deck and had my coffee. I love thunderstorms.
Yesterday was lovely here as well. We sat out and had burgers for Father’s Day....the breeze through all the trees was so nice. I love the wind in the trees.
So scary! Has he been ok since?
And good morning!
I’ve decided to postpone my trip to Nashville. I’m not sure Corduroy will last much longer. I don’t want his last days to be with someone who won’t show him love or affection. These 2 doctors are amazing in that I can get an appointment within 2 weeks usually, so I can reschedule later. I’d feel better waiting.
Good morning, lysie!
Thanks for breakfast.
Got a little bit of rain yesterday afternoon, really dropped the temperature, so thankful.
Enjoy your time at your camp.
Good morning, CB!
Oh, your poor little guy.
You made the right decision to postpone your appointment.
Every moment you have with Corduroy is precious.
Thanks! Are you a happy camper now?
I’m jealous, wish we’d have a nice storm.
