I guess that’s why digital library books are good - they just take them back when they are due!
I do like that aspect, among others.
If a book (or video) is already checked out, you can put a hold on it. Depending on the number of copies, there might be a long wait for a new release, but then you’re not making fruitless trips to the library to see if it’s available.
No trip needed to the library to get a book. Nice during bad weather.

I honestly think he was trying to make a joke; another time during the climate meetings he was talking about wanting to drive someone’s electric school bus and he said something about he used to drive a bus or had a license to drive a bus.

Kamala Harris doesn’t seem to have done much to deal with the border crisis since she was given her commission about a month ago. The White House insisted afterward that she was just supposed to be dealing with the “root causes.” But she hasn’t seemed to have done anything with regard to those either and no one seems to be doing anything to address the present crisis. Harris does plan to talk to the Mexican president on May 7 about extending a program of planting trees to Central America. I’m sure that will stop the folks flooding across the border now.
India is going through a very bad time. Infection is widespread. Everyone I know is infected along with family.
Govt figures are very low. I think they will have herd immunity very soon.
People who are vaccinated are also getting infected.
I pray the situation in India improves soon.
If people keep moving and I’ll probably last. I think prices here are permanently about 100,000 higher than they should be. Unless we have deflation. But that doesn’t seem to be happening at all

THE SPACEX starstip is reported to have had a near miss with a UFO - with astronauts on board told to buckle up and prepare for a crash, Nasa has revealed.
While en route to the International Space Station after a successful launch in Florida, the four crew members were notified they could soon collide with an unknown object.
There was no time to perform an avoidance manoeuvre and instead the astronauts on board SpaceX’s recycled Crew Dragon capsule, the Endeavour, were told to put on their pressurized suits in case of a collision, reports Futurism.
“The NASA/SpaceX team was informed of the possible conjunction by US Space Command,” Nasa spokesman Kelly Humphries said.
“The object being tracked is classified as ‘unknown’.
