Great statement!
“Then I will when I am elected to replace him”
LOL
Orange, yikes!
I’m glad it was a mistake. A corrected mistake.
We are supposed to have several days near 90. I don’t like it when summer comes on all of a sudden. I’d rather be able to get used to it.
35 Republicans vote with Pelosi to create Jan 6th Commission…

I love watching the rain. And the composite deck is so smart! Staining wood is so much work every few years.
I think that’s a great idea to extend the porch. The people that come out to fix the sidewalk can also pour concrete for the porch!
14 days! I can’t even imagine how hard that was for you.
Keep forgetting to mention this so want to post while I’m thinking about it-
I noticed in Walmart and Kroger that they’re getting a bunch of canning jars and lids in stock.
“I noticed in Walmart and Kroger that they’re getting a bunch of canning jars and lids in stock.”
Thanks for the notice but I don’t can. My mother’s, mother, died when my mother was only 9 months old from botulism. She was only 20 or 21. So my mother never canned and neither did I. I have made some jams though and sealed with melted wax.
I couldn’t remember who did and didn’t, and I didn’t want to leave anyone out who might. I probably did, anyway. LOL
My mom would can (the unapproved water bath method-she didn’t trust the pressure canner!) when I was younger. I have books and stuff, but I’ve never done it.
it’s that time of the year.
I don’t can but I do have a dehydrator, but I’m still not sure how to seal the lids just for that. I’m not Susie homemaker. But I’m not a bad cook. Went to grocer today, I noticed creeping prices. Think I’ll start taking pic of a few items each time I go. Cat food was sparse, timing?
My statement on the vote on the January 6th Commission in the U.S. House of Representatives
Julie Kelly @julie_kelly2
35 Republicans voted for the January 6 Commission. They are tools of the Left at a very dangerous time when Biden regime is weaponizing Capitol breach to advance “domestic terrorism” agenda against the Right. Shame on them.
Emerald Robinson @EmeraldRobinson
It's time to primary every GOP politician who wants to have a January 6th commission.
Catturd ™ @catturd2
Vote out every weakling, spineless, worthless, backstabbing, coward Republican in the GOP.
The employer at my job,Now Said as of today they'll not require proof of being covid vaxxed. Ha! Win Win!
Great news!!
Thanks for the update 👍🏻👍🏻
I remember you telling that. My mother, who was in no way a person that would can anything, decided to try it when I was around nine years old. Worst day! Thankfully she never tried again.
I did have some friends that had horses when I was a young teen, their mom was a canner and it was so pretty. I just rathered grow stuff and eat/freeze.
Hmmm...extending the porch isn’t something I considered. Would it look weird with part of it sticking out from under the roof? And there’s brick along the bottom of the porch. I suspect they wouldn’t be able to find new brick to tie in, but they might. And for me, the cost is always a consideration! I definitely don’t want any structural changes to the roof.
I do have a deck out back (it needs to be redone but that’s like a $6000 job). The front is mostly for cosmetic/curb appeal if I do sell in 3-4 years (better than 50% chance at this point). But I can get the contractor to give me a quote including extending the porch flooring. When I see what redoing the columns and putting in a handrail cost, I might just have them slap on a coat of paint and call it good! LOL
Great news, for Dan. Thanks.
Did the employees rise up en mass and revolt??
My employer has said from the get-go that we don’t have to provide proof, and now that the mask restrictions are lifted, we don’t have to wear masks either. But since we deal with HIPAA issues every day, it probably wasn’t a hard decision.
