‘Politicians don’t get to choose who covers them’: Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot faces backlash over decision to give interviews to ONLY ‘black and brown’ reporters to mark her anniversary
Last week we had high 80’s and into the 90’s. Today our high is going to be 63 degrees. That is the kind of May’s we get. It can’t make up it’s mind.
Discrimination. And I bet she had a lot of white donors that don’t care.
What a wonderful thought.
LOL!!!!!!
“We have been known to have the heat and aircon on on the same day!”
I am doing that quite often. Air goes down to 64 at night then have to turn heat on in the morning because 64 is to cold to be up. So up to 70 goes the heat.
It’s been up and down up this way as well. We planted a bunch of onions back in early April because it was so warm. Well, naturally, they froze. I think they survived, but the weather was very warm for awhile in April, giving one the impression it was here to stay. Wrong. Now it’s downright hot (for us). But I don’t think that will last either.
This was a new development when I moved in so we got to pick our colors then the builder submitted the NUMBERS to the paint company.
The house across the street is a 2 story and one day I see a bright PUMPKIN ORANGE 2 story house. Dear Lord please don’t make me have to see a Pumpkin Orange house. Well what happened was the builder accidently reversed a couple of numbers, so they repainted the house a lighter beige, Thank you Lord. :-)

by Matt PalumboPosted: May 19, 2021
FTA
The Dan Bongino radio show launches next Monday on May 24th, and will air Monday-Friday from 12PM-3PM ET. Former President Donald Trump will be show’s first guest.
The show will take the three-hour slot formally held by the late great Rush Limbaugh in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. A radio station locator will be available here on Bongino.com when the show is live to assist anyone who needs help finding a way to listen.
Dan recently interviewed President Trump last month and the two discussed the Maricopa County election audit, recent FISA Court revelations, Project Veritas’ CNN tapes, his life after the presidency, and his plans for 2024, among other topics. YouTube has since censored the interview.
The Dan Bongino podcast is currently the second most listened to conservative show in the country, and the move into talk radio will bring over a newer audience (podcast listeners) to the platform.
A Dan Bongino Fox News show will also debut on Saturday June 5th, replacing the slot formally held by the Greg Gutfeld Show (which has since moved to weeknights).

Lol that’s funny. Imagine coming to see your new house and seeing the great pumpkin right before your eyes lol.
“One of the reasons I’d like to remove the railing between the columns is because the porch is very narrow-maybe 4 feet wide. I’ve got some wicker chairs I’d like to sit in front of the big window, but I can’t walk between the chair and the railing if I do!”
If it is that narrow that you can’t walk between the chairs and railing when you remove the railing and try to walk by you could very easily slip off the edge.
What if you put the chairs facing each other? Will you actually be sitting out there? What if you just slightly turn the first chair when you go to sit down. WHY DO YOU NEED TO WALK BY?
I wouldn’t remove the railing.
“Thank you , ALL, for the prayers. nothing has changed.”
When did you say he came home under Hospice care? It took 14 days for my husband without food or water (as he was unable to eat or drink) before he finally passed. Those were the hardest 14 days of my life.
“Oh my goodness. My porch faces north as well. It is also very narrow. I have two wicker chairs and a wicker table and I have to squeeze by as well. I call it my front perch. I doubt it’s even 4 feet - closer to 3. Pain in the neck.”
I just had to go measure my porch...the full concrete/brick pad is 4 feet, but once you allow for the columns & railing, 3 feet.
Told you....we’re TWINS!! LOL
Lol by the by.....my house is greyish brick with a touch of blue, white trim. The new one is greyish taupe with white shutters and trim. I will have a large composite deck (to match) added with white rail and a roof, so I can sit out while it rains.
So, you don’t have a porch. You have a perch, just like me!
Actually, Spirit, your porch is low enough that it wouldn’t be a problem to extend it a bit. I’d add an extra couple of feet so it’s more of a sitting area than a long narrow space. Heck, 3 feet of poured concrete along the whole front and you’ve got yourself a nice outside area. It’s enough to hold three or four TFT members for a nice visit!
It’s been cooler here too, but I’m not complaining one bit!
lol, that’s funny.
I can’t imagine how hard that was Spunky. 💕
“There is nothing more corrupt than an investigation in search of a crime.”
This is so despicable. And we will be next.
