Nope. Can’t close the cabinet door. So I need to take it back and get a smaller one. *sigh*
Conservative group launches ad campaign against âwoke capitalism,â targeting CEOs by name
A conservative group is launching an advertising campaign Tuesday designed to push back against what it sees as âwoke capitalism,â spending more than $1 million on ads targeting the CEOs of Coca-Cola, American Airlines and Nike.
The ads are sharply critical of the CEOs on a range of issues ranging from childhood obesity to allegations of forced labor in China. Organizers say the campaign, which is being mounted by the conservative group Consumersâ Research, is designed to change the thinking in corporate boards around the economic and political costs of getting involved in flashpoint issues such as voting rights.
âIncreasingly weâre seeing companies taking their eye off the ball,â said William Hild, executive director Consumersâ Research. âOur focus is always on the consumer. And thatâs what it should be for these companies as well, but increasingly weâre seeing them work to curry favor with woke politicians, rather than focusing on serving their consumers.â
The dark money group says it will not disclose who is financing the campaign, saying it respects donorsâ privacy. Consumersâ Research says it will run the ads on CNBC, Fox Business and local stations in the cities where the companies are headquartered. There will also be an online component to the campaign.

That sounds just like something I would do. I can’t pick paint either. I picked one to paint our front door in Bakersfield and it ended up looking purple. I hate it that my husband was right! Because now he gets to pick all the colors. When I say I think something will match all he has to say is remember the purple door.
Please say a prayer for my 93 year old father. He is not doing well. He is at the VA hospital hospice care. He doesn't have much time left. His organs are failing. So sad.
Say a prayer for my daughter and her sweet kitty. She is very upset. Her loving cat Cain got out of the house last night around 7:30 and has not come home. She has searched all over and has put flyers around the neighborhood.
