I worked for a non-profit organization, and we were building a huge center, funded in part by the NSF and USAF. so Microsoft wanted to use us as an example of how wonderful they are. The representative was trying to push Blackbaud on us. A handsome but arrogant a-hole. We had a committee but I had the final decision on our technology. We got into arguments so much a few people asked me if we were having an affair, lol.
I stuck to my security protocols and we had our own servers, etc.

ROFL!!! I’ve had a few of those ‘work spouses’ at times, so I know exactly what you mean.
Lucky for them that I only worked with them. If I had to see them outside of work, I probably would have killed them.

Now the kids are thinking of getting a miller? I think that’s what she said. It’s the thing that when you cut down trees, you load them in and make your own lumber. She’s thinking in case they need lumber to make repairs, build on, etc., you just don’t know when it’s going to be unavailable or too expensive to buy. My daughter would have made a great pioneer!
