Now the kids are thinking of getting a miller? I think that’s what she said. It’s the thing that when you cut down trees, you load them in and make your own lumber. She’s thinking in case they need lumber to make repairs, build on, etc., you just don’t know when it’s going to be unavailable or too expensive to buy. My daughter would have made a great pioneer!

My grandsons, step-father-in-law got one of those and hired out to mill lumber for people. He is finding out he needs someone to help roll the logs onto it as it was killing his back. The one he got is all computerized.
THAT is a pretty intense process, isn’t it? Milling logs into lumber?
