Joe Biden won’t visit the border because 1) lack of leadership 2) would prove this is a crisis/disaster 2) would require bringing the press pool and cameras to see the catastrophe inside detention centers, and they can’t have that

Grandson, who is now 26, lives with his dad, my son, his step-mom and their kids.
He has been with them permanently since he turned 18.
His mom would send him off to his dads only when she couldn’t handle him, wanted him straightened out, then she would start the undermining.
It was just terrible.
My grandson is so broken but he knows he is loved and safe in his dad’s home and is getting the help he needs.
I went through all my clothes and got rid of a whole bunch.
Didn’t think I needed them.
Now I was wondering what I was thinking.

Veronica Escobar (D-Tex.), who represents the El Paso area, said she also recently spoke with border agents and none mentioned anything about catching terrorist suspects. Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), the chair of the House subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations, pointed out that he hasn’t caught wind of the concerns, either. “Gonna ask for a briefing,” he tweeted. “Pretty sure [McCarthy] is either wrong or lying.”
McCarthy was also criticized for suggesting Americans should be worried about allegations that people from Iran, Sri Lanka, Yemen, and Chinese are trying to cross the border.

That was one of my favorite songs in the 60’s. I think my grandson liked it also as he took my cassette and even loaned it to one of his friends to listen to. I had to ask for it back. He was 19 or 20 at the time.
Honestly, I wish my ex-DIL no ill will.
She is a product of what was done to her by her mother.
It’s just a crying shame that she didn’t fight hard to break the cycle.
