Grandson, who is now 26, lives with his dad, my son, his step-mom and their kids.
He has been with them permanently since he turned 18.
His mom would send him off to his dads only when she couldn’t handle him, wanted him straightened out, then she would start the undermining.
It was just terrible.
My grandson is so broken but he knows he is loved and safe in his dad’s home and is getting the help he needs.
That is so awful, Gran. I’m glad that he’s with his dad, and he can recover from a selfish, spoiled, immature mother. She sounds like a narcissist.

I sometimes forget as a mother who can do this to their child. But the main thing is that he is loved and will feel it.

My grandson’s wife may not be a housekeeper but at least she takes care of the kids and she definitely doesn’t care a thing about clothes. She wears jeans and a black top all the time. My grandson is so mild mannered he just takes it all in stride.
