We call that Frito pie. LOL Sonic has a version but just the Fritos, chili and I think you can add cheese, onion and maybe jalapeños?

I didn’t even know until tonight that Miss Vickie’s were “discovered” in northern Ontario, hit the chip jackpot, and were purchased by Hostess! Or was it Frito-Lay? I forgot already lol.
Ha! Speaking of mean roosters, my little Audrey got attacked by her rooster today. She is the funniest little kid, always playing with the chickens and the rooster. The rooster has gone after all of them (my daughter, the older two kids) but it was very tame for Audrey and she’d pick it up and walk around with it. Well, today, for the first time, she was walking up to him and he jumped up and spiked her in the leg with its spur. Nasty thing. I don’t know whether it had anything to do with him being a recent newlywed or not. lol

I had bought a beautiful rooster hot my dad’s hens. He was fine until my dad killed a few hens. After that it took two people to gather eggs, one to keep rooster occupied by taunting him into chasing you, and the other to grab the eggs.

That’s when my daughter got attacked! She has just gathered a few eggs and was walking away. He got her good in the back of both legs. She was scratched and bruised by him....nasty bird.
It was so nice out today, the male turkey strolled up to the yard and came in to visit us as we were sitting outside. That thing’s so fat he can hardly walk. We were patting him and Natalie tried to pick him up and couldn’t. That thing must weigh 50 pounds! They are so ugly, in a beautiful sort of way.

I might be able to trick my mind into thinking it’s a salad but I suppose my body will always count the calories as they are:-( And I forgot all about the ranch! You have to eat it with ranch dressing and the salsa. Something they do together creates yummy deliciousness.
That Frito salad/pie sounds delish. Might have to consider making that sometime for my hubby. I think he bought some Fritos the other day.
Y’all are ingenious! I never thought about making it more ‘salady’ so I could say it’s healthy!! And to be honest, I keep a bag or two of Fritos around (hidden in the garage) so I can make a Frito pie when the urge strikes.
I could be wrong, but I think Whataburger has Jalapeno ranch dressing, and so does Litehouse, Wal-Mart, and probably some other places.
