Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) told Breitbart News on Wednesday that Democrat representatives, not Republicans, are being provided Secret Service protection per House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) directives.
The federal government built concrete barriers alongside fencing with razor wire surrounding the Capitol following violent riots on January 6, ostensibly to protect against a threat of “domestic terrorism” from conservative supporters of former President Donald Trump.
Lots more at link. I’m still working so sneaking a few minutes. LOL
If the border ever reopens, we will try Miss Vicky’s. One of our neighbors loves those ketchup chips and was complaining mightily about the border being closed for so long because he is in “withdrawal”.
Nice to have so little to complain about, eh?
“If only I had known; I coulda cashed in...”
Did you know I invented wraps? When I was a teenager I would put everything in a tortilla. I’d roll up cold cuts, cheese, eggs and bacon, BTL, etc, I just loved them. My family, wonderful that they are, made fun of me. When with my invention when Wild, I didn’t even get a congratulations. Or a penny... so I get it!
Now that’s an interesting Theory. That they think the people will turn on them. That doesn’t seem to fit with their normal arrogance thinking that they get away with everything and that “the people” are stupid. Maybe they recognize that they overdid it, and are still overdoing it. Running as fast to Fascism as they can.
I’m just hoping they are right :-)
Hi Vlad, good to see you! I see you get lots of good material out of this Administration. Kinda like Rush seem to be more popular when he had an opposing Administration to talk about.
Between rush and trunk, I’ve lost all that I can handle. I don’t want to wonder where my favorite posters have gone either! Glad you are sticking around.
Thanks!
Fritos is my fave.
I hope they don’t cancel because of the Frito Bandito.
Nice work. Don’t get in trouble on the job, tho.
Auditor sent 2 files this afternoon; one with 100 deaths I need to research, the other with 50 service questions. For a 10:30 a.m. meeting tomorrow.
Gonna be a long night anyway, so I can skim and do quick posts. Keeps my brain functioning. LOL
I had nights like that. Not the skimming and posting part, but the research from hell. Be pretty rummy at around 3 AM.
Good luck!
Goats will eat everything... when we moved here the previous owner had a beautiful garden with flowers, hostas and crepe myrtles and other trees. Well, the goats ate all the flowers, and the bark off the trees and the dogs dug up which I can only assume was a grave side for a horse they had that had passed 😩.
The good news is they also got rid of all the poison ivy.
But I love my goaties. So much personality.
you solved the puzzle
sigh
reality check
Some days I miss our goats. We sold them all a few years back so we would be able to travel to see family. It was hard to find someone to watch them if we wanted to go somewhere. We just have a few chickens from last summer. They’re not as entertaining as the goats were.
Never a dull moment when you have goats. I’ve had horses, but no goats since I moved out of parents home many moons ago. My dad had someone milk them for awhile, as his arthritis was in his hands so I had to milk them, but he eventually sold them and kept the chickens.
The kids and grands always liked the goats at petting zoos.
Yes dj, been praying for your SIL Ryan. check in when you can.
Sweetie you are a warehouse of information today.
:>)
I invented the rounded keyboard in my mind because my neck and arms would hurt using the straight one. Somebody got rich off that idea.
