Just bought a new Windows 10 PC for downstairs where I am much of the day but am still using a 6 year old Dell Windows 7 with IE upstairs in the evening . Twitter and other sites no longer support IE so I would like your advice re: a new browser . Thanks in advance .

Opera or Brave. Still planning to try Vivaldi and Pale Moon.

Come on Windows 7 is dead. 11 years old. Get real its not a thing anymore step into the present. Most people don’t even own cars that old.

I use Vivaldi with my Win7. It is based on Opera, which is a Chromium derivative.

One that works with Linux Unbutu. Easy to use and better than 7 because it does not have exploitable security issues.

Really, Win 7 is, at this point, really problematic. But, you may have issues with Win 10 on an old computer. Get Unbutu. Setup a dual boot or run Windows in a row box inside unbutu. It isn’t hard.

It’s free.

Firefox most of the time.
Have Pale Moon installed but do not like the interface as much, and bookmarking is not as good for me as FF.

I’m running Win7 with 0patch patches.

In the past I’ve run Opera, Slimjet, and Firefox. Now I’m running Brave with Ad Block and Ghostery. Like it real well.

True. Only ones that use it (and Windows XP) are Chinese Communists who are using cracked/pirated copies.

Most modern hardware doesn’t support it. Only good for mundane tasks that most low-powered ancient crapware laptops and desktop machines can support. Stuff I normally donate to poor relatives.

To be frank, my oldest laptop is 2 years old and my desktop computer is constantly upgraded.

I was going to skip your thread, but at the end you said you were still using Twitter and I just stopped by to call you a godless Commie Nazi Fascist. That buss has left the station along with FB. Go ask the Democrat Underground what Browser they use.
