I have two doctor friends...buddies if you will. One is a cardiologist to whom I entrust my heart. 79 years old and still in practice. Works with corona patients everyday in a major Chicago area hospital. He strongly urged me to get the shot as he did. The other has been my friend since high school football days in the 50’s. 81 years old. Not in practice anymore. Was a Navy physician on nuclear subs during Vietnam era. Big skeptic for a variety of reasons and has not gotten shot.
I don’t know what to hell to do at this point.
The flu hasn’t killed this many since 1918.

J&J, Astrazeneca are standard Adenovirus based vaccines, iirc.

And we vaccinate against the flu. This is not the typical flu more akin to H1N1 or the more virulent flu variants. Get the vaccine or don’t but dont deny the real illness caused by this virus

As I understand it it is similar to the AstraZeneca Covid “vaccine”, and none of them are traditional vaccines by way of introducing a dead, partial or otherwise deneutered version of the virus into the body to train the body’s immune system to recognize it and respond positively when it sees the actual virus.
Instead, the J&J, AZ, Pfizer and Moderna “vaccines” all introduce a mechanism by which the body is made to create a version of the virus spike protein that the immune system then responds to.
Still, the J&J and AZ versions, by using a virus insert platform that has been used previously and doesn’t use the nanoparticle delivery that effectively delivers this protein-creating response to every cell in the body, is presumably on some level weaker and maybe safer than the Moderna and Pfizer mRNA-containing vaccines. (It is also single-dose, cheaper and easier to handle.) Still, multiple European countries are already warning against the safety of the AZ “jab” for the elderly.

the right things? what do you mean? HCQ or ivermectin? I’ve seen people get just as sick and die after taking those. They work at least as well as masks do I’ll give them that...... What is the % for natural immunity?
I mean it has been headline news when someone reacquired COVID. Why in the hell do they want people with natural immunity to take the vaccine? I saw a study where even the first shot increased antibody numbers by orders of magnitude in the recovered and orders of magnitude over the two shot set vaccinated.
On the genetic changes... My understanding is the first shot causes your body to produce the covid spike proteins so your body has the “invaders” to train the immune response on. How does the first shot cause your body to make something if it isnt messing with the instruction manual in the cells? It isnt as if that “page” to produce that spike protein is there, or is it? I mean at least conceptually I understand how RNA collects amino acids and how when a point is hit the protein folds (forms) releasing the RNA to rinse and repeat. Does the RNA not persist and is there no modification of the core DNA instruction set nor the Mitochondrial instruction sets?
So, you didn’t even bother to look up “Transfection” - it’s not a newly coined term or “a meaningless term meant to cause fear”.

I don’t profess to understand it all, but your willful ignorance/derision makes me wonder if you should be giving advice on how safe something is or isn’t just because your screenname has an “MD” in it.
And the CDC's own web site lists studies where the effectiveness of those vaccines is a low of 19% to a high of 48% for the last 6 years, with an overall average of 35%. People can do way better than that without having themselves stuck with some vaccine every year.
