Lol ok. I’m picturing you flipping your pet cheese lol.
You can change morning to night. Or dark. Those are probably too boring.
Do you cook with or consume any of the goat’s milk?
Good idea! With as much good as he did the country, he deserves that and so much more.
So far time hasn’t been the issue, but it takes a toll on me physically. I try and set aside a day each week for each thing, weeding, picking, canning, cleaning stalls, cleaning the coop...
You did good to do Parmesan! I have to admit I haven’t gotten the hard cheeses figured out, just mozzarella, ricotta and chèvre. Those are easy. I tried to age some cheese I. A wind fridge but it grew pink stuff and we were all afraid to eat it 😂😂😂
I’m thinking the South ought to separate again. And our Capital could be at Mar-A-Lago.
*I used a wine fridge

It’s amazing how much work cheeses is. And that’s even after pressing it. I bought this bizarre little cheese press, I could never tell exactly how many psi it was putting on it.
It was hard to want to eat it after getting so attached.
The book I got said to start with the soft cheeses and then move slowly through the book. So I flipped to the very end and there was parmesan. It’s the only one I made. If you use your imagination that’s sort of what it tasted like.
I don’t think I could deal with lots of dairy goats, way too much work! And that’s just taking care of the milk.
I told hubby the same thing, last night.
From AZ to FL....Secede!!
I told him that they’d hate to let go of TX...with all of our natural resources, etc.....but....that no one would mind giving up NM!
Is that bad?
That’s a good idea, I’m going to try that when I have a garden again. Just one day for each thing. Then I don’t feel overwhelmed thinking I have to do it all. Thanks for the idea.
Oh, pink stuff, yeah probably a good idea not to eat it!
When you did the mozzarella did you have to do a lot of twisting and pulling? I never tried that one. I read directions but it sounded like so much work.
I want one of those car window shields. I think my car got vandalized though
Nah. Driving through New Mexico numerous times, I think you are right. But the northern mountains are beautiful. We used to go to Cloudcroft to escape the heat in El Paso. Oh and don’t forget White Sands! That place really is amazing. And what’s the big cave there.... geez I should know that, I went there probably a hundred times.
Carlsbad Caverns.
Nope, goes right to Trump. He must have a shoebox around somewhere
I know, I really want one. It actually turned out a whole lot better in the picture than in person.
When we were in California my car got keyed, we think it was because we had a rush bumper sticker. Liberals really have no class at all.
Carlsbad?
That’s it!!!
:-)
Yeah, it takes a lot of twisting and pulling, but so good!
Goats are a bit of work.., not too bad. The stalls are the worst. The only thing is when they are in milk I have to milk twice a day, even if I’m sick or the weather is bad, so it’s kind of a pain. I bought a machine years ago that cuts the time down to about 5 min/goat which is great.
Winters I don’t have to clean the barn as often so I have a cleaner house, summers I have to clean more, so I have a dirtier house. So, it’s all a trade off, lol.
