Yes, it's very hard to get into right now. It's slow. Sometimes if I just leave it sitting it will time out and give me an error, but other times if I wait a long time it will finally load.
At which point the performance is very sketchy. Torba has posted that they have had hundreds of thousands of new hits and they are overwhelmed, adding systems as fast as the can to scale up.

I’m 99% the story about a cop dying is fake news— name and all. I was there, and the few patriots that made it to the capit were as mild as can be.
A few dozen Antifa were there before real Patriots arrived, and I dont think theres any evidence any were even armed.
