At this point the whole thing appears to be a disgusting display/charade of “how many corrupt traitors can dance on the head of a fake legislative process pin”.
All I can think is by voting to certify the “election” they’re all going to be guilty of federal crimes and get spend 20 years in Leavenworth. That’s the low level ones. Those who helped it along can go to Gitmo until sentencing.
I think the events of today lend credibility to his assertions.

I was calmer earlier in the day; felt relief like when the boil at the head and you know it’s going to get lanced. Pre-relief.
Now I’m on edge again. I know that Trump and his team have this entirely planned out, that it involves the mil, and these aholes in Congress are condemning themselves with every word. Has to play out. I suppose I’ll be able to sleep tonight....

I didn’t reply properly. Beautifully said. Even people who went through serious horrors such as in WW2 in Europe, managed to have happy lives afterwards. Life in this mortal world is like this. Always duality, light and dark, truth and lies, good and evil. We always have to choose, and choose wisely. The right choice doesn’t mean we won’t have suffering and hardship along the way.

So anybody who was going to object to the electoral votes, who now says that they cannot “in good conscience” object to them, it means that their original objection was NOT because they thought the election was stolen and they were trying to stop it. It means they had ULTERIOR MOTIVE for their objection.
Because if you were objecting because you thought the election was fraudulent, what happened today would NOT CHANGE THAT.
But if you were objecting because you thought nothing would happen and objecting would gain you political points with your conservative base, then yeah you might change your mind now thinking it would make you look bad instead of good.
Wow. Makes me sick too. This talk of another impeachment, on top of everything else, makes me think Trump’s next move (they hit me once, I hit back ten times harder) is going to happen very soon.
