I didn’t see anything nefarious there, or did I miss something?
“He delivered when everyone said it was impossible.”
In so many ways, the wall is only one. The Middle East. The economy. Companies coming back here. Being respected again.
There’s a thought! Unintended consequences.
“Maybe he’s going to Mexico....to make Mexico great, again.”
I swore I would never be forced to learn Spanish. Went through eight years of being forced to take it in school, managed to get As without remembering a word after I graduated.
But if Trump’s going to Mexico, I will follow.
I’ll go anywhere if he can be my president again.
Do we have any idea where POTUS’ next stop is? Any pool reporters traveling with him, today?
Dejected, but proud of his and everyone working with him accomplishments.
Indeed.
“Joint Chiefs of Staff issue military-wide memo condemning Capitol riot, confirming Biden will become next commander in chief.”
Sounds like no martial law then.
Estoy triste, pero estoy de acuerdo, Sra CottonBall. Yo también.
“this lid shortage has me concerned. I hate the Tatler and Harvest Guard reusable lids, but I do own some.”
Is there a lid shortage? I haven’t been buying any, just using what I stockpiled.
I bought a bunch of tattlers, figuring they would be better in a prepping scenario. I ended having to can water, just to learn how to make the stupid things work.
Which All American would you recommend? I wasn’t sure if I would can much so I got a presto about 15 years ago. It’s still working okay but I do have to replace the seals. I should have gone ahead and invested in an All-American.
I have no clue what you said!
You are ebil. LOL
When I was in 6th grade in California, a girl was in my class that had just moved from Mexico. The teacher assigned me to help her since she spoke no English. That was before the days of mandatory ESL, etc. Her dad was transferred here for a job. Anyway, that same year I started my three mandatory years of Spanish instruction. But working with her, I learned Spanish fast as she learned English.
Years later, living in Alpine, I spoke more Spanish than I did English. After that, I forgot a lot because I didn’t use it a whole lot. But we took the kids to Jaurez once and I ordered in Spanish and talked to storekeepers. My kids were so impressed!
Presidential calendar shows he’s returning to Andrews AFB tonight.
Basically agreed w/you :-)
I think kids learn better before ESL. When we were in Corpus Christi my son had a ton of friends that had been an ESL for years and years. Then they had one student from Russia who didn’t speak a word of English. By the end of the first year he was quite proficient. They have a stake in keeping these kids in these classes where they don’t learn much.
Looks like I better not go to Alpine though.
It wasn’t a letter but a “readout” as you post referred to. That’s all I saw. Not much there.
