What is a normal number on an average day?

I used to see between 25-40 in the air at the same time on a regular day when I first started. Not anything even close to what were seeing the past few weeks and months.

Are they all over Texas or is this nation wide?

300+ military aircraft in the air over the US at the same time? Most I've seen before today was yesterday at around 200. Before the most I've seen at a time was 68, and that was around election time.

I live on an island in Washington State that houses a navy base. We are very close to Canadian border. Yes we regularly have airplane noise but the last two days they have ramped up. Very out of norm. Any connection you think?
