NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Some people living in a Queens neighborhood are afraid to leave their homes.
That’s because there have been several aggressive squirrel attacks over the last few weeks, CBS2’s Hazel Sanchez reported Tuesday.
Micheline Frederick is still bruised. Her bite wounds are healing after she was attacked by a squirrel one week ago.

I've got a great spot for a picnic table like that... a high tree "stump" left high, because I just never know what kind of inspiration will hit. Figured on starting off with a critter ladder so the chipmunks could dine in the sky.

Before enlightenment, I would suffer from bouts of exasperation as those squirrels just did not respect proper boundaries.
As soon as I wised up and embraced my new rodent overlords, I realized that they were starving comedians in search of an audience.
So while the big city entertainment districts have boarded up shop, I laugh just thinking about what the next 40 or 50# bag of seed is going to give back.
(Watch your step, though, because we have all kinds of entertainers drawn in to the place.)
The show must go on!
