A man from Kentucky decided to clear his driveway using a flamethrower Dressed only in a hat and bathrobe the man casually walked down the drive Passing drivers honked their horns as they drove by the bizarre sight Plenty of people on social media praised the ingenuity of the idea with many wishing they had in fact received flamethrowers for Christmas

It’s not a good plan. It takes far more energy to melt and then evaporate snow than most homeowner flame throwers put out, especially if the ground is frozen. At best, the top layer would melt, then refreeze, leaving a layer of solid ice.
