Upon an objection by a Senator and a Congressman to a state’s Electors the two Houses (Senate and House) then retire and debate for up to two hours.
This is NOT a debate by state delegations (that only happens if the election is undecided) it is a straight majority decision and the outcome in the House will be whatever Pelosi wishes since she has the majority (unless she doesn’t because of the virus- that would be interesting!)
Nay go better in the Senate. May not.
By law, but not by the Constitution, if the two Houses disagree then the state’s electoral slate is accepted.
Shocking, right?
I think you’re right about things getting toasty (😂) for Stacy!! 🔥
“Dig to see why the vote was objected to and how many objected. Not all animals are equal.”
So now the code can just automatically be changed because the objection this time is different then other times and how many objected is more then other times? I don’t think it works that way. A code is a code until it is changed by legislation.
A federal appeals court on Saturday dismissed a lawsuit by Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) and other Republicans that sought to expand Vice President Pence’s legal authority to effectively overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral win.
A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit affirmed a lower court judge’s decision from Friday that the GOP plaintiffs lacked a legal right to sue.
I’m not poo pooing this comment but I would like to see it physically/visually confirmed/associated with an account of Marc Short’s, or VP Pence’s account.
I checked the White House VP’s page and Marc’s Twitter account but no luck.
That’s what I said on the thread!
Someone posted this link but it’s NYT and has a paywall. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/02/us/politics/gop-senators-josh-hawley-election.html
Still, I want to see it direct from the horse’s mouth. Too many instances of hearsay being reported incorrectly (thanks, LSM!).
WOW!
This is Explosive and CRAZY!
Thanks so much and finally got home!
Wow And Great post and info!!
Thanks for the ping!
Thanks!
That’s what I thought I read also, although I would rather it be different.
Are you having nice temps these days too? (I’m kidding, I think we’re close enough to gave the same weather?)
Looking at a house outside Elizabethton now. There are pros and cons about each area. But at least we already know what those are concerning Elizabethton. And I finally learned to say it right!

BREAKING: @tedcruz has proposed a daring plan to resurrect the #ElectoralCommission (last convened in 1877) to conduct a 10-day audit of the results of the election. Almost 40% of Americans from both parties believe widespread election fraud changed the results of the election.
2/ Joining Cruz are Ron Johnson (R-WI.), James Lankford (R-OK.), Steve Daines (R-MT.), John Kennedy (R-LA.), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN.), and Mike Braun (R-IN.), and Senators-Elect Cynthia Lummis (R-WO.), Roger Marshall (R-KA.), Bill Hagerty (R-TN.), and Tommy Tuberville (R-AL.)
3/ More than one hundred members of Congress have announced plans to object to seating electors from states where election fraud took place or where the states broke their own election laws unless an #ElectoralCommission is convened.
4/ The media and #BigTech persist in claiming that there is no evidence of election fraud or violations of election law in multiple states despite hundreds of hours of testimony describing both heard in hearings held in several states.
5/ Here is the joint statement from members of the U.S. Senate on the creation of an #ElectoralCommission: cruz.senate.gov/?p=press_relea…
6/ Here is the history of the #ElectoralCommision:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral…
7/ The last #ElectoralCommission consisted of 5 House members, 5 Senate members, and 5 Supreme Court Justices. elections.harpweek.com/Controversy.htm
8/ With half of the country believing that election fraud changed the outcome, media/bigtech censoring discussion of the evidence, and the SCOTUS’ refusal to get involved — if we want to move forward we need the #ElectoralCommission to give the president his day in ‘court’.
9/ “By any measure, the allegations of fraud & irregularities in the 2020 election exceed any in our lifetimes. We intend to vote on January 6 to reject the electors from disputed states as not regularly given & lawfully certified” ~ Ted Cruz
Two had links on twitter. Will send it to you when it pops up again.
Will be interesting to see how that plays out.
No worries ma. I went to the Twitter accounts to buttress any claims of not coming from the horses’ mouth (Marc Short) but could not find a direct link. Twitter, nay I say, most- if not all social media platforms are rife with claims both truthful and false.
Thanks.
“we need the #ElectoralCommission to give the president his day in ‘court’.”
Yeah, I think this great.
Of course it affects nothing I said above- but we’re not in an argument.
As I wrote my congressman I just want verifiable elections.
We didn’t have one in 2020.
This proposal could correct that, or future elections. And any politician that doesn’t support a look into the election must support crooked elections.
Also.....this explains the difference between what Sen Hawley was leading the effort of doing.....objecting....and, this commision.
😉
