Coronavirus-induced 'cytokine storm' which can be fatal is triggered by the release of TWO proteins – but antibodies can break the vicious cycle and increase chances of survival

Severe cases of Covid-19 have been known to lead to a mysterious condition whereby the body's immune system goes haywire and starts attacking healthy cells, rather than just those that are infected.

This prolonged state of self-sabotage is known as a 'cytokine storm' and can be fatal, but researchers have struggled to understand how it works and how to treat it.

Now new research has looked at the progression of a coronavirus infection in mice and found the cytokine storm is a vicious cycle, which leads to the overproduction of two signalling proteins called tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha and interferon (INF)-gamma.

Whatever you do, don’t let off the gas pedal. The China virus has a bad habit of coming back on people.

Those are all things on my list.

Some here are big believers in NAC and Glutathione. If she lingers you might try it.

My liquid spray glutathione seems to knock out anything that comes my way so far. Like sniffles, runny nose, etc.

High dose proteolytic or systemic enzymes will, also mitigate the cytokine storm without wiping out important circulating immune complexes. This is a known fact which is being ignored. Follow the money...

And now, interferon gamma inhibitors:

I thought Dr Z said, once you HAVE it, don’t take the Vit D....only take the D as part of preventative.

How much Zinc are you giving her? Too much can cause nausea/taste/smell issues. Just curious.

Best of luck and prayers being said for Mrs Ancesthtr!!

okay ...great...now tell me what I can take at home before it all goes to hell

Two things that keep popping up (plus 2 extras) ... lots of good info out there if you want to delve deeper into any of this. Ivor Cummins has excellent videos on his youtube channel - lot of them, but worth finding the ones that are relevant.

Make sure you do not have Metabolic Syndrome & if you do, you CAN do something about it & fairly quickly, too. If you have Metabolic Syndrome, you already have inflammation - the COVID inflammation on top of what you already have is definitely not good.

Many articles on the link between more serious outcomes with Metabolic Syndrome ... here’s one example:

Make sure your Vit D levels are good - sunshine is the best way to get Vit D, supplementation may not be as good; however, if you’re low, supplementing might help. If you take D3, you need to take K2 with it.

Basic supplements per Dr. David Samadi - saw him on News Max & seems really reasonable about COVID (doesn’t treat it as if it’s an Ebola level problem). Twitter is removing followers - surprised they haven’t kicked him off.

Currently working through this book. IMO, the human immunity system is a marvel & we’re really good at messing it up.

btw, for those that are dealing with cancer

these words show up for that too

Apoptosis, necroptosis, and pyroptosis

so maybe something might help that works with covid and vice versa ..down the road.

That doesn’t really make any sense. Memory B-cells produce antibodies. They’re only activated by matching T-cells. Outside of activation by specific T-cells, they lie dormant because it uses a ton of energy to produce antibodies. If they were all suddenly activated, your body would die, but not for the same reasons as we see in cytokine storms, which are caused by a flood of pro-inflammatory triggers. Rather, you’d see multiple organ failure more similar to what you see in metastasized cancer. It would take a lot longer to do fatal damage, and that damage would be non-specific. In essence, you would die of exhaustion and a sort of malnutrition.

This is very different from the deaths we’re talking about.

We already have treatments which are highly effective.

Early stage viral infection...zinc (preferably chelated) plus ionophore (hcq, quercetin and some foods)

Later stage therapy is the MATH+ protocol

https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/covid-19-how-new-information-should-drive-policy

(Above start at about minute 48)

Used in Houston hospital:
https://www.click2houston.com/health/2020/04/17/local-hospital-using-experimental-drug-treatment-in-hopes-of-saving-lives-of-covid-19-patients/

There is little need for any expensive, fancy treatments. Nothing will beat IV ascorbic acid as an antiviral (the ‘A’ in ‘MATH+). Conventional medicine and pharma will deny this to their deathbed, primarily due to $, but also due to ego, pride and arrogance.

Cytokine storm has been around for a long while, but was only verified for sure during the Ukraine H1N1 Influenza epidemic.

It might have been responsible for the lethality of the 1918 Spanish Influenza as well.

In Ukraine, doctors were freaked out and insisted that patients had not died of the flu, based on autopsy results, and “flu does not do that!” In many cases, it looked like their lungs had been burned black, again from the cytokine storm.

One way to fight cytokine storm is with ACE inhibitors.

Angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors (ACE inhibitors) are a class of medication used primarily for the treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure. They work by causing relaxation of blood vessels as well as a decrease in blood volume, which leads to lower blood pressure and decreased oxygen demand from the heart.

Vitamin D contains a natural ACE inhibitor. It also has several other anti-viral effects.

I think of this a bit like I do cancer..

We all have cells that could turn cancerous. Most of the time our body takes care of them (yes, this is simplified)

You can get a shot of Wuhan Flu in your nose. It replicates. Your body does its thing and you may never know or it may be mild case

OR
Your body can go haywire...just like cancer.

You dont know what your body is going to do with Covid. SO ..have a plan..and pray your body kicks it’s ass.

This looks similar to what happens with autoimmune diseases.

Bromelain activity lasts only 6 hours in tge body. You need to take it 4x a day. Animal based pancreatic enzymes lasts 36 hours and when prepared properly will not be destroyed by stomach acid. By adding serrapeptase to the animal based enzymes, you provide protection against inflammatory processes, viral and bacterial invaders, fibrosis, tumor formation, while improving immune function.

Excellent post.

Don’t forget the B vitamins, in particular thiamine. A thiamine deficiency (beriberi) is serious for lungs.

Also, vitamin A.

The Dr David Brownstein protocol calls for 4 days of A, Bcomplex, C and D3, plus inhaled dilute nebulized saline, peroxide or lugol’s for people who develop breathing problems. The doses of A and D3 are quite high for the 4 days. The C can be as high as 200 g/day for serious illness...use up to bowel tolerance. Robert Cathcart MD has a table of vitC dosages for various infections.

Serrapeptase should be taken on empty stomach, iirc. Also great for keeping arteries clear. I use it in the morning.

Yes, had a young family member that died from a cytokine storm many years ago. No autopsy. Diagnosed as flu then pneumonia, coma/sepsis, organ failure, death in a very short amount of time.

No one else in the family has succumbed that way since.

Don’t know if genetic quirk or what.
