On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was riding in his open-top motorcade in Dealey Plaza, in Dallas, Texas when he was struck by multiple gunshots and killed.
Former U.S. Marine Lee Harvey Oswald was believed, by the prevailing accounts, to have been responsible for firing the shots from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building, which struck Kennedy in the neck and head as his motorcade passed through the plaza at 12:30 p.m. that day. According to History.com, Oswald is believed to have fired three shots, with two hitting and fatally wounding Kennedy and another shot hitting and wounding then-Texas Governor John Connally. Oswald was arrested in connection with the assassination but was shot and killed two days later.
The shots that killed Kennedy were caught on film and the shocking footage has seen decades of speculation and conspiracy theories about what truly happened that day. Witness Abraham Zapruder captured some of the closest footage of the shooting, in what would come to be known as the “Zapruder Film.”

There were at least two rifles involved. The first shot was from a lower-velocity round that didn’t cause explosive damage when it hit, probably around 2000 fps.
The second head shot that caused explosive damage was from a much higher velocity round, probably around 3000 fps.
And it was a turkey-shoot. No particular skill was required.

boy, what a fine display of police work by the Dallas Police Department that weekend...lose the President and the assassin in 2 days...very nice. I especially liked the midnight press conference when they paraded Oswald in front of 200 reporters in a room that included Jack Ruby. Really nice touch...

According to the National Archives, 520 documents remain under seal under one of two provisions of the 1992 law. Some were sealed by a federal court and can only be unsealed by a judge. Others involve tax records. Of the 15,834 released only in redacted form, “most are currently less redacted than prior to October 26, 2017.”
I was in Mr. Shaw’s 5th Grade class in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. We were still recovering from the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Evacuation of us dependents.
The rarely used speaker came on and the announced the assassination of the President and we were to be going home. The base was preparing for hostilities again. A girl near me started screaming and was unable to stop.

Here is one of the questions. How many times in his life did JFK visit Dallas? Why did not the conspirators plan to kill JFK in Washington D.C. or Palm Beach, places frequented by JFK?

If thee is nothing nefarious, why after 57 years is there still classified information on the assassination?
If that were the case, the entry hole in the base of JFK’s skull would have been the same diameter as the caliber of Oswald’s rifle. It wasn’t. The entry hole was smaller, about 5.56 size.
