boy, what a fine display of police work by the Dallas Police Department that weekend...lose the President and the assassin in 2 days...very nice. I especially liked the midnight press conference when they paraded Oswald in front of 200 reporters in a room that included Jack Ruby. Really nice touch...
He shot JD Tippet. He tried to kill Dallas police officers when they apprehended him in the Texas theater, hense the black eye. We can also add in that the rifle found in the place he worked in was also his. Ballistics matched the Connelly bullet with the General Walker bullet. He did it. I think he had support to try to escape, but Tippet screwed that up. Ruby was an anomaly.
