Thank you. You are sweet to say so. It is my maiden name, my grandfather being Armenian. He escaped just as the Turkish persecution was starting, fleeing first to Germany and then to Switzerland. Until he came to the US the family name was DJemjemian, but he dropped the initial Djem for the simpler Jemian.

Between the Turks and then the Russians, we thought until early in 90s that our family of 8 were the only Jemians left in the world. However, my younger brother did internet searches and discovered a whole bunch of us who escaped through Lebanon and have settled in California.

Y'all aren't gonna believe this....a friend has decided HE wants to buy a gun (S&W revolver) so I offered to help locate one online. I went to Smith and Wesson's website and for the first time noticed a recall notice for pistols with EZ slides made between March and November this year. The gun I bought is an EZ slide, so I followed the directions to see if mine was recalled (not all in that date range are).

MINE HAS BEEN RECALLED! And it's not one of those ‘oh it might scratch if you look at it funny’ recalls. It's that the hammers manufactured by the supplier were cracked. This can potentially result in multiple discharges without depressing the trigger.

S&W says it's only been found in two hammers but they would rather recall the guns and fix them if necessary. So now I'm having to ship the gun back to S&W for inspection and possible repair. Then they'll ship it back to me. It's all at no cost to me, but I won't be able to use the gun in class on Saturday.

I never would have known if I hadn't offered to help my friend locate a gun, and could have had a disastrous result.

And also use your nogens- we learned today that Barr appointed Durham a Special Counsel IN OCTOBER. AND HE IS INVESTIGATING THE MUELLER PROBE AS WELL. And in the SAME article where they ALSO spin that massive news, they LEAD with a supposed election fraud quote?

As I said on @JoeTalkShow - this is an information war - and the sooner you realize they are looking for literally any opportunity to play you, the better off you will be. Start that now.
